It was Friday and as usual, it is time for Jummah. I haven't been feeling too well. I have been facing this pouncing headache for about a week now. I don't know what it is but it has definitely taken a toll on me. Part of me feels very happy that our lectures have been suspended else I would have had a very difficult coupl eof weeks. I am definitely going to get it checked if it persists.

I woke up late today because of my situation. Since it was Jummah, I had to get ready. My younger brother helped me out with the ironing of my clothes and I went to the bathroom to freshen up. It was just a prayer gown so pressing it shouldn't be a problem for him. I then went ahead to take my breakfast which was regular tea with bread and egg.

I then readied myself for our departure. We left quite early today. This was to catch up with the Imam's sermon. There was no traffic on the road today. This made as arrive earlier than expected which was still a very good thing. Nevertheless, there were still people at the mosque.

I therefore went directly towards the ablution bay to perform my ablution (cleansing my body).

It was a very interesting sermon touching on our duties as muslims to seek peace within our countries especially during the upcoming elections. The Imam said that many politicians have their own agendas and may not necessarily care about the path they may choose to win. It is up to us to look out for our family and friends and to spread the message of peace.

He also urged us to pray for our fellow africans in Nigeria so that Allah will guide them towards peace and understanding in these difficult times.

Once prayers were said, I had to rush to the vehicle in hopes of getting home for some rest.

In the evening, I watched some news on tv3's news 360.

Watching tv3 news

Today they were talking about the effect of covid-19 on business. It has surely taken a heavy toll on a lot of businesses and as such, government needs to put measures in place to look out for its workers. I then participated in the My Town In Ten Pics organised by the @steemitblog.

That's all for now. Thank you for your attention.

I wish you speedy recovery. Headache is very painful especially when the weather is so hot. We all have to go on our knees and pray for Nigerians because they are in hard times.
