THE DIARY GAME : 10/10/2020 - My Better Life On Saturday

I was waiting for Sun to dry my herbs and clothes. I woke up from bed very strong and healthy, but I was little late on bed since today is Saturday. The weather was a little cloudy, so I had to wait before beginning my activity for the day. I didn't bother to eat early since the weather was still cool. Shortly, around 9 am, the Sun began to emerge. I had to convey my herbs with that small sack to spread them over it. This was done on our compound. I laid the sack on the floor, spread the herbs on it.

I could now wash my clothes and my bag. It had been a long time I washed my school. Because of its difficult nature in washing, I don't often wash it. Last 3 days, my wife complaint that I have to wash it. You know how women or ladies are so caring when it comes to our social lives. I just remembered when taking the clothes outside, I took it along. The tap was running, so I began by turning to tap for the water to flow into my bucket. I fetched the quantity I felt it could wash the clothes.

I began washing all the shirts, handkerchiefs and nose masks before washing the trousers. The dirty clothes were not many today, so I easily washed them quickly. When I finished all, I put the bag in the dirty water. The bag is having many zips opening to places where I deposit my items like books and pens. I used sponge and soap to wash every corner very well. When I finished, I took my time to rinse it.

I then dried the clothes and the bag on our drying line. I wanted all the water to drain from the bag so I turned the bag upside down. I rather hanged it on the metal pole.

I felt hungry, checked the time and it was quarter to 12 noon. Fortunately, my wife prepared some yam ampesi in the morning. I went to the kitchen to serve my self. In fact it was very cold, so I just took small slides into the bowl. I fetched little stew and began to eat.

I relaxed in my room for few minutes when I remembered that I had to go and fill my gas cylinder at Mampong. I just took it outside pick taxi and went to "Kyerenfaso" gas filling station. There were few people around here so I did not waste much time. Within few minutes I returned with my cylinder fully filled with gas. It only cost Ghc 70 but did not fill to the brim in order to avoid danger of being explode. I quickly fixed the regulator so that it could be used today.

I enjoyed the rest of the day by searching more things on internet to broaden my knowledge. My children were also around me chatting and making a lot of inquiries. I enjoyed chatting with them, though I was very busy on my phone. This is how I enjoyed my daily life today. Thanks to all.
