At times we are bound to make traces of Mistake unnoticed, but when we are prompted when we become aware, and position ourselves on the right path. Should I rather say it was a mistake, inability to check the system to know the accuracy or I was more relaxed? Well, I think I should let the sleeping dog lie! I'm a type who easily admit my fault and render apology to who ever is affected.
In this case, I hereby officially apologize to @steemitblog and the entire Steemit Team for violating the rule concerning the curation work and the Steem POD Task. Actually handling such curation task needed to be checked that all things are correct and devoid of any mistakes. The system needs to be monitored such that one Author shouldn't be upvoted frequently while other Authors aren't attended to. Now, the tools for all these checks have even been modified to check all these. Thanks to @shortsegments who has helped us with the https://steemworld.org. We can now check whoever is voted as many as possible and who isn't voted at all.
Though , using the Auto vote app has been the easiest way of curating but at times if we don't take care we can ruin our Steem Power. For instance, if one isn't a frequent content creator who share for his Steem power to regenerate even as it's been used up through auto vote. That Author may lose precious amount of SP while he isn't aware. Despite the fact that Curation also fetched rewards of SP. At times we can degenerate our Steem unnoticed. That is what I have been through for the past one year. In my case, I have been posting alright in the Steemit Community, yet I wasn't aware that I was having some strange Authors that I was curating automatically. Maybe it did happen long ago. For the first time, I was reminded by @steemcurator01 through commenting. But I had not been following the Steem World app.
So, I took the matter as I was ignorantly curating the Author manually.
It was later that I used the Steem World app to monitor the system, because for about week I went back to check, and the system has auto voted the person's account throughout. It was then that I sensed that I had maybe placed the Author in auto vote for long time that I don't even remember. I remembered that we used Steemauto.app to effect the auto vote by don't know the inverse/reverse of it. And even I tried later and the system wasn't working. So, I was making inquiry from colleagues Steemians from one discord to the other. Most of them even don't remember this app. It was later that I had respond from @cryptokannon from @steemingcurators discord showing me this great link that can really do the job for me: https://auto.steemdb.online/ Thanks to @cryptokannon for helping me in that way.
Now, I have revoked the auto vote using the app. I'm waiting that it doesn't reflect again. Maybe I used the right methods to do this.
I was guilty to the votes that have went to these Authors when I checked the system. The only thing I remember about this was I authorized @upvotebank to use my votes , but I actually didn't know what would happen behind the seen. I must say, 2 years of being in Steem is very long journey, yet we still haven't finished learning. For the @minimalpris, I didn't know that I had set him for auto votes. To the extent that he could drain 33.3% of my votes weekly. I see this as unfair deal being Steem POD curator. But one thing is that the system had been effected so long before I was given this task.
For every mistake leads to consciousness. This prompt by @steemitblog has really helped me to be vigilant dive into the system in my curation journey. I'm very happy that I have been promoted, this will help me to be on my toes. I want to learn more things about curation and be well experienced. Thanks to the Steemit Team.
Thank you for sorting this.
