Movie Review of Gemini man, 2019.

I watched this movie last night titled Gemini man. I got inquisitive to watch this movie when I found out that one of my most preferred Hollywood actor, Will Smith, was the main actor in the movie.
In this movie, Will Smith played the role of a retired US Marine named Henry Brogan. The first scene that I saw was when Henry shot an unknown mature man from over a mile away. When I saw this scene, I was surprised, and I thought there would be an investigation about the killing, but it seemed Henry was just living his normal life after the incident. Well, maybe the corps has not taken the issue to book.

Things were going normal till Henry took a ride to see his brother, it was then disclosed that Henry had just taken a wrong shot, the guy (man) henry assassinated named Velery Dormov was an innocent molecular biologist which was posed to Henry as a bio-terrorist.

I just imagined Henry’s mood at that moment when he felt he was doing a legal job for the posed government but found out he was only used for a wrong task. Many people have done many things thinking they are doing the right thing, not knowing that they are following the wrong information. Imagine the regret!
However, while Henry was trying to find out what went wrong, he was interrupted by some spies that wanted to kill him. He set out with his friend Baron and his new friend Makerewski danielle (marine biologist) to get safety and find out what was amiss.

Henry lost many of his close friends, including Baron in the process. His enemies had enough information to track him down wherever he was. This went on and on to the extent that they used Henry’s clone as a surprise to defeat him.
I have heard of clones before, but could that be real? Like seeing yourself in another body, same identity, same habits and everything LOL. That could be as a result of MAD SCIENCE. Henry’s clone was 30 years younger than him and his enemies thought he could be the perfect tool to get Henry because he had rare (man power) skills and ability so they wanted to use one of his kind against him.

Henry found out that his old boss whom he and Baron had worked for in the marine before resigned known as Clay Verries was the backbone of the entire thing and he connived with the legal agency Henry retired from to undertake this task. They knew that Henry found out he shot an innocent man and they sought to kill him to avoid the secret from being leaked which may cause damage to their agency’s identity.

Clay verries opened privatised paramilitary agency called the Gemini where he trained many people for serious assignments and missions. This agency was legal though, but clay also does some illegal and bad stuff with that opportunity. Clay Veries cloned Henry via his DNA. That was when Henry was still under him as a staff.

This movie was all about deceit and doing wrong things based on wrong ideas about something. Clay also deceived Henry’s clone that he (Henry) was a terrible guy and he (clay verries) is Henry’s clones, father. Henry’s clone (not knowing that he was a clone) tried his best to kill Henry till they convinced him he was using a wrong information. Then the clone still wanted to find out the truth by shooting Henry with bee venom, which he was allergic to, and this confirmed the truth. That was my best scene.

Henry with the help of his clone and his friend defeated Clay Verries and everything went back to normal. Henry took his clone as his son and taught him that there was more to life than being just an assassin and a terrorist.
Deceit is terrible. Getting the wrong impression about people make others make mistakes out of ignorance. It’s better you find out yourself before action rather than causing harm.

This movie was interesting and I can watch it all over again and I would love other people to try this movie.
