I bet so many of you reading this post that are blacks must have been frowning at the fact that I used the word "Blacks". However, before you throw me some heavy stones here, you should know that I am also a black guy and I reside in black community. So, chill guys and read through all what I have to say. Better still, grab a coffee and follow up.

For decades, blacks has been hunted and oppressed, especially when they find themselves in a foreign country. Because of the colour of the skin, the treatment at which blacks received is far more different than that of the whites. It hurts, and it can be a weapon of destruction. Believe me, I know. However, there is a problem that it seems people don't seem to get yet.

An average black man will get upset when he is called "black" or "nigga" by a white man. It is true that most or some of them, the racist ironically meant to call them animals. However, get used to the fact that you are black! Not animal, but accept the nature and colour of your skin. Getting upset because you are being called a black shows two things. 1) It shows you are denying your nature because of what the community has framed it to be. 2) You are giving them the power to hurt and torment you more. You can earn these respect you deserve from these whites folks if you learn to smile at the word "nigga" or "blacks" and show to them how wrong they are thinking you are worth nothing or trying to get you upset.

Racism had always been there even before the issue of white and black skin colour. And the funny part is, it will continue to exist one way or the other. It is true that in some part of the country, people still oppress the fellow humans because of the colour of his or her skin. However, frowning at the word "black" is not a way to pass the message to them that you are not in support of that. Accepting such does not mean you accept defeat. It only means you are telling them you are a perfect creation as them, and you have nothing to worry about. You are black, they are white. So? Who cares? Who give a damn?! The best way to uplift ourselves from this disease is to stop having the feeling of mediocrity! Stop downgrading yourself and start having the thoughts you can do more.

I will call it off here. However, the lesson should be clear. Accept who you are and believe. Do not allow yourself to be intimidated because of your skin colour by words you are called. Don't stoop so low. Be proud to be blacks!

Nice words. The black people had suffered from racism, and it is still happening. Look at the recent case of the black American choked to death by the white corps. It hurts to see all those things happening. The fact that black people are being sidelined in some cases cannot be denied, however, a lot of white folks still love and respect the black people. So I would say we have the good and the bad. Racism is everywhere. There are tribal differences among the people of the same country. It's just that the White/black cases is too obvious. Notwithstanding, every black person should be proud of where they come from. No one has the power of choosing a country to be born. We are all where we are by chance. If we all realize this fact, there will be more love among all people irrespective of races and skin colour.
