THE DIARY GAME : DATE 14-09-2020 Working From Home

Hello diary,

I love Monday mornings
There’s something “fresh start” about Mondays. Something that feels like new opportunities and a clean slate.
When I woke up today from bed, i took a few minutes to reflect both on my goals and dreams (sometimes I free write and other times I think). Then I look back through the work I completed the week before, which is all tracked in a spreadsheet and my daily productivity booklet . Here I make note of my wins (very important, as I never used to do this and always felt like I wasn’t achieving anything) and I make a note of what tasks were not completed.

Then the same process happens again to figure out what needs to be done today. By this stage I have a very clear idea of my tasks and how that wraps up to my overall goals, so it takes usually less than a minute to write down my daily to-do list. These tasks are also written in priority order with a “top 5.” This means my daily word count goal is almost always at the top.

Since today is Monday and every Mondays in Bamenda city of Cameroon, we usually experience a lock down, i was forced to work from home. My work doesn't really requires me to be at the office. I can do my task at home and simply do a push to git hub where my peers can do a fetch and continue with the work.

When i woke up, and since i knew i wasn't going to work today, i remained in my room doing some office work. By 11am, as i stepped out of the room, fresh clean air filled my lungs, energises me, cleared my eyes and refreshes my body and mind, cleans up my skin and generally made me feel alive.

Immediately, i brush my teeth and wash my face, did some house chores, bath and changed clothe. After i was done, my kid sister fried some popcorn and groundnuts and gave mine as if she knew that i wanted to watch movie.

So i watched this popular movie which is trending on netflex "LA CASA DE PAPEL". I was watching season 4 of the movie and i loved every thing about it. The way professor was thinking and tackling problems was just so amazing even thou season 4 ended keeping me on suspend when professor hide out was discovered.
After watching the movie, i did rested for some time and upon waking up, we had no light, so i took my saxophone and rehears some basic songs on work on my fingering and accuracy(speed)

By 6pm when i was done rehearsing, lights hand come back so i resumed with my office work.
