THE DIARY GAME : DATE 24-09-2020

Hello Diary,

So today was Thursday, and we have been witnessing electricity outage in our neighborhood for about two day now.
I went to bed very early and by 3am, i was up. since there was no light, i couldn't do any thing much so i was forced to go back to bed.
Before i could realise, it was already 7am so I had my morning meditation and immediately i was done, I head into the bathroom and grab a shower and get ready for the day. The last thing I did before going to work in the morning is make my bed. It only takes a few minutes, and it starts off the day on the right foot. I also love coming into my room to get ready to bed and having a bed that’s made up and tidy.

Before going to work, since there was no light, i took nearly every thing at home that needs to be charge along with me. i carried as many i could inside my bag. We have a standby generator at the office so i was planning to use it.

When i got to the office, i put every thing i carried from home on charge, set up my machine, filled my to-do list. Task i had on my to-do list was just so many to the extend i new i cant finish it. These are task for the past three days carried forward.

After working for about 3 hours, i got a phone call from a Local 'event planner' to come do a birthday surprise for one of her clients. Since she didnt informed me before today, i was like: you will increase my payment. And she said yes.

I left the office, we the much work i had on my desk, i went for the program. When i arrived, she was still arranging things and putting things inplace. I waited for about 1 hour before the program. I was not really happy with her considering what i had todo in the office and more to that, there is no electricity and the standby generator we have, we mostly ration the usage since everyone in the office is using but a laptop and it stores current for some time.

After i was done playing the birthday song for her client, she told me to wait so she can bring my own birthday cake.

After eating the cake, i dismounted my saxophone and put it inside its bag and went back to the office and when i got there, my boss had bought food for everyone and kept mine in my absence. He bought one of our local meal "koki and potatoes".

As if he knew that i was hungry. The cake i eat on the birthday instead provoked my hunger.

When i was done eating, i continued back with my office work and ofcourse i didnt finished all task assigned to me.
Yet i didnt want to go home because i knew there is no light at home. so i stayed at the office for while after closing time and went back home around 6 pm where as we usually close at 5pm. I took a motor bike since it was already late and by 6:30pm, i was home.
