A better life: Mind, body and spirit

As a christian, I have spent the past 4 days fasting, praying, reading my Bible and preaching/ sharing God's word publicly in taxis I have been traveling in to Kabira Country club.

This has boosted up my spiritual life. I now feel strengthened spiritually. Fasting is a great catalyst that quickens up our spiritual growth. It helps in breaking up all spiritual bondages and barriers such as fears, failures, backwardness, depression, etc..

Prior to this spiritual exercise my mind was being bombarded with so many disturbing thoughts and this made me lose concentration on my steemit work. I can now say that I have managed to overcome through this moment of humbling my self before the lord. Personally I rely on the Lord for solution to any spiritual and mind issues. He has been my ultimate solution for all these years I have walked believing and trusting in him.

I now feel more focused and strong to work more than ever before. Sometimes as humans we need encouragement within us. Time of discouragement is now done. Spiritual exercise has value for all things to this life and the life to come.

Meditation

I meditated on a certain portion of scripture that was besically about having faith in God and being thankful. There were 10 lepers that got instantly healed when they obeyed the instruction of the lord concerning their healing. This can be found in Luke 17:11-19. Jesus told them to go and show themselves to the priest and do those things that the priest required of them for their cleansing. As they went they were instantly healed on the way even before meeting the priest.

Having faith in God. One healed leper among the many came back to Jesus and offered thanks to the Lord for his healing. This particular one was made whole, as the lord confirmed it to him that his faith had made him well.
