Hello friends,
The International Day of Victims of Enforced Disappearance is observed on August 30 every year. I know about this day in the context of Bangladesh. Many people have disappeared in Bangladesh due to political reasons. I searched the internet to find out. Today I am going to write about one such International Day of Missing Victims. I invite you to write about your favorite day @enamul17 @alfazmalek @artist1111 in this contest.

The International Day of Enforced Disappearance is observed to commemorate and locate those persons. The main context is that the day is observed due to the awareness and human rights concerns of the families of the missing persons and the international community of important persons of many countries. This day is not only to remember the missing persons but also to bring awareness to the people and put pressure on the government and support the family members. This day is celebrated to take action at the international level to trace missing persons.

Suggest and draw a mascot to represent the day.

Give a brief description of your mascot.

A child poses for his missing father with a photo before an international organization so that if his father is alive and guilty, he will be tried according to the law and if he is innocent, he will be returned to his family. If he was killed after being forcibly abducted, the child wants justice for the killer. This scene in our Bangladesh Bangladesh many people have been forcibly disappeared through the government.

What change do you think this day brought about in your community?

The day basically helps to bring attention to the rescue of missing persons or the reasons why they are missing. Every human being has freedom. It creates awareness that every person will get justice. This day puts pressure on the ruling party and international organizations to find out what steps the government has taken on missing people and why they are going missing. This day calls on the government to enact stronger laws against enforced disappearances. Overall this day creates awareness towards the society. This awareness builds the foundation of peace and justice towards a country.

Who are the active promoters, and what do you think could be added to make more of an impact in your community?

This day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2001. To promote this day, human rights organizations and various organs of the United Nations play an active role in promoting it. On this day, media and professional journalists play an important role in raising awareness among people.

There are things we can do to reduce the disappearance of these enforced disappearances. Through the use of technology it will be easier to find a missing person or find out information (although current technology has come a long way in this regard). Each of the people
