"Empowering young people for peace and security" International Youth Day is observed on August 12 every year to prioritize the views of young people and recognize their contribution. To promote the cause of peace and unification of people throughout the world.

This day has been observed since 2000 by the United Nations to celebrate the victory of youth and the primacy of youth. Many events are organized on this day for the youth where educational workshops and seminars, discussion sessions, question and answer sessions, debates, are organized to develop the talent of the youth. International Youth Day is celebrated to encourage youth and recognize their creative potential.

Youth is power

If the youth unite, world peace will come and a beautiful world will be ours. Youth is strength proves it.

What change do you think this day brought about in your community?

It's hard to say exactly what this day has brought but to me the biggest change is bringing the youth together. The youth of my country managed to overthrow the dictatorial government of our country. The freedom of speech of the people of the country has returned.

I think everything is possible if the youth can be united. Young people can lead great and understand the pulse of others which works to move a country and nation forward.

International Youth Day teaches young people to work in unison with others Identify and solve problems. Youngsters can do any job quickly and get hands-on experience.

International Youth Day can have a profound impact on a community of young people. Acknowledging and valuing the youth's contributions can lead to a new supportive environment.

Who are the active promoters and what do you think could be added to make more of an impact in your community?

Active promoters of International Youth Day are youth development agencies and various organizations that work with youth. The theme of the day is published by the United Nations and disseminated worldwide. Youth Day shines light on our young society. These organizations and organizations work at the field level to see how young people can make a great impact.

Youth Day is working on education, mental health, environmental protection, etc. among the youth. The biggest impact is in the information technology sector of my country where the youth is winning.

I have the ability to lead and mobilize others among the youth. Job oriented education of the youth can be used quickly and unemployment can be eliminated. Government and non-governmental organizations should come forward to do such a work.

I think it would be more acceptable to work with the UN theme and select new local themes by country or ethnicity. I invite you @rahulkazi @farzana01 @shahid76 to participate in this contest.
