World Breastfeeding Week
1st to 7th August.

What do you know about the day?

World Breastfeeding Week is a week-long celebration that started in 1992. The World Health Organization and UNICEF have designated this week to celebrate the benefits of breastfeeding for mothers and babies.World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year during the week of August 1st to August 7th.

This week is a celebration of the importance of breastfeeding for babies, mothers, and communities. It's not just about the health benefits, it's also about the emotional support that is offered when a mother breastfeeds her child. Breastfeeding also helps to keep moms healthy as well as their children. It's important to support breastfeeding mothers by providing resources and education on breastfeeding.

It has been proven that breastfeeding offers many health benefits for mothers and babies, like decreased risk of developing breast cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity. This week is a time to celebrate the benefits of breastfeeding and share your experiences with other mothers.

How do you or your country or your organization celebrate the day?

Pakistan was recently named the country with the highest breastfeeding rates in the world, according to a study by UNICEF. Pakistan's breastfeeding rates are 97% and continues to increase with more and more mothers opting to breastfeed their babies. Pakistan celebrated World Breastfeeding Week on October 9th, 2017. The government has also been working to establish breastfeeding as an important part of Pakistani culture.

A lot of people think that breastfeeding is a natural thing and that there is no need to celebrate it. This week, the World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated in Pakistan. The purpose of this week is to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and to educate about its benefits. According to UNICEF, breastfeeding is the most effective way to prevent disease and malnutrition. It also helps fight diseases like HIV and diarrhea.

Pakistan celebrates World Breastfeeding Week every year to promote breastfeeding. The government of Pakistan has established a number of state-run hospitals and health facilities which provide free breastfeeding support services. In order to provide these services to the local community, they partner with organizations such as UNICEF and UNFPA.

What impact does your community gain during and after commemoration?

"World Breastfeeding Week" is a global event that is celebrated by countries all over the world. This week, the focus is on promoting breastfeeding. This week was celebrated in Pakistan this year. The purpose of this event is to promote breastfeeding and help mothers who want to breastfeed their babies but are unable to due to lack of support.

The event was organized by UNICEF and PILDAT, a nonprofit organization that aims to support breastfeeding and improve health outcomes for children. This week's event was a success and helped educate many mothers on the benefits of breastfeeding their babies. The aim of this week was to increase awareness about the importance of breastfeeding among mothers and their children.

What issue or concern will you recommend to be commemorated this week and on what date?

I recommend that I recognize the violence that women experience on a daily basis. Every day, from the moment we wake up until the moment we go to sleep, women are being harassed, assaulted, raped, and killed. By commemorating this day, we can celebrate all of the women who have fought for gender equality and have been victims of violence. This day should be celebrated on 4th of August.

I'm inviting : @adnanyassin, @malikusman1 and @numanbhutta

Have a Nice day
