"Along the way in Life”-Your Life Experiences 13 July

Life has its own way of teaching you either to be a good person or a bad person and it influences you more when you are not outspoken. People will ride on you and use you to climb to another stage because you have failed to express your self.

My name is Ugochi, I lived with my family for so long, and my mom is a trader. She fries Akara every Sunday morning and we are not living in our house because we don't have our own land where to build or even have money to build a single room if eventually we have a piece of land. We have lived in 3 different places, each place with their own problem. Is either keeping of washed cloth is the reason for exchange of words of staying in the bathroom for too long, or your children with other neighbors are fighting. My mom is someone that doesn't tolerate or like to take insult from anybody, so she will rather pack and relocate. The second place we lived, was as if it is a good sent. Though the landlady is an old woman, she has space in the compound that if you want to plant some vegetables you will plant and she gave consent to people that wants to plant. Along the way the old age started getting to her, she started making troubles and you know how old age is, so one of her daughters have to come back and we have to pack because she came back with her children their space will not be enough.

Finally my mom decided to go stay in her family house since her parents are late and her siblings none of them is in the village, after the second year in that place a heavy wind came and blown up the roof of the house and they were literally living outside. From her small business, she was able to buy zinc and roof the house all over.

Since she's now staying in her family house and she is no longer paying house rent, she decided to get herself a small portion of land where was able to build three lockup stores and have a small space at the back incase tomorrow she have money to put up a bed room flat, the lord has been faithful, life has really thought us to wait for when the time is right because had it been that we didn't take decision to go live in my mom's family house all this while life has been shaking us, this opportunity wouldn't have come our way.
