Creative writing: Preservation of the natural environment

Good afternoon noble people.
It's your favorite @annettenoel 😊bringing to you another interesting piece on how we can preserve the natural environment and why it is important.

The natural environment as we know is the habitat for many living organisms .
It involves all green plants 🌱and trees 🌲with water bodies. In this our era, there are a lot of activities being carried by man that are destroying the natural environment.

The natural environment is important to us due to the fact that ;

It serves as a habitat for many living organisms including soil organisms which help to mix the sub soil with top soil containing organic matirial like leaves of trees and dead plants, helping to increase soil fertility.

Also the green plants and trees on land and in water bodies help to clean the atmosphere by absorbing excess carbon dioxide which is toxic to man and inturn release oxygen in the process of photosynthesis, which is used by man for respiration.

With these very important functions of the natural environment, there is need for it's preservation.🌳

Some activities that are threat to the natural environment include:

Burning of forests and farmlands.

Dumping of toxic industrial waste into water bodies.

Smoke from industries and cars.

Spraying of farmlands with harmful chemicals like insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and vitamins. This can inturn reduce soil fertility.

We can preserve the natural environment by;

Planting more trees than are being cut down.

Clearing and tilting farmlands with the use of natural organic manure ( fowl dropping, cow dung, goat dung, leaves of trees etc).

This can also be done by recycling waste, instead of dumping into water bodies which can kill water organisms or burning which can cause air pollution.

If the natural environment is destroyed man would suffocate 😌 due to the absence of oxygen for respiration and the next thing would be death.😥
It is of utmost importance for us all to contribute in the preservation of our natural environment.🌲
