Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 26/12/2024

Hello all,

It was a great pleasure to write again in "Steem Cameroon" after a long time.
So, this post is about the best day of the previous week. The best of that week was our journey to the Technology Faculty, University of Jaffna, situated at Kilinochchi, to participate in the international conference, "TechInn 2024".

Our staff members left the Faculty of Technology, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, at around 11.00 am on the day before the conference. On the way to the Kilinochchi, we took our lunch at the Silver Ray restaurant, Ratnapura. Then we continued our journey. It was a very long and exhausting journey. Fortunately, our vehicle was a KDH, which was a very comfortable vehicle. We could take hoppers for our dinner near Kilinochchi city. The 4th quartile of the journey was a bit dangerous since we had to look out for wild elephants near the road.
At around 11.00 pm, we could reach Arival Nagar, where the Faculty of Technology, University of Jaffna, is located. The university staff had arranged the university guest house for our stay. Since we were exhausted, we went to bed after quickly taking the showers.

The next morning, we all dressed well for the conference. They had arranged a bus to take us to the faculty. We participated in the inauguration ceremony and took the refreshments. Then, we left for our relevant conference tracks and made our presentations. Then, we took our lunch, that they had arranged for us. The lunch was fantastic and filled with traditional Tamil foods. After lunch, we participated in the evening tracks. The presentations at the evening tracks marked the end of the international conference. Then, we all took a quick walk at the guest house and started to leave for Jaffna.

I would like to say that it was an unforgettable journey, also, that was the first time I visited Kilinochchi. I will certainly go again to Kilinochchi with my family members.
