The Diary Game: Friday 10/09/21

Hello steemians... Here's a post on how my day was spent.

I woke up late as usual because I rarely go to bed early. It's like sleep flees away from me and returns in the morning.
I left my bed at 8:30am today and committed my day in the hands of God almighty. I then walked out and realised that I forgot to lock my door all throughout the night. As such, I'm thankful to God for a peaceful night nonetheless.

I took my bath and not long after, I heard my phone ring; more of a beep than a call😊. I quickly called back and it was my elder cousin, she was inviting me over for a stroll in Limbe. I was excited because it meant getting to see my little nephew for the 2nd time since he was born; that's mainly because they are based in Yaounde and my elder cousin is a workaholic.
I quickly dressed up and took off. I forgot to break the fast, I guess I was too excited.

I arrived safely, and thanked God for travelling mercy. I then highlighted the bus at Mile four and boarded a taxi.

I got home, changed my dress and left for the venue. God am I glad I got there on an empty belly. It was God's will that I didn't get to break my fast in the morning. It was a complete come together celebration with more than enough to eat and drink. I got there not too early, and not too late. A seat was reserved for me. I ate and mingled with relatives whom I haven't seen for years; it was golden.

BY THE WAY, THE PLATE BEFORE ME IN THE PICTURE WAS MY SECOND😋

I left early with my little nephew, went home and got into something much more free than an official garment. I changed just my shirt because it was soiled, but I made sure my nephew got into a summer wear. Now, the stroll began

We went to the beach and spent hours there, he really loved it .

We sat on the white painted chairs, as well as dipped our toes into the salty sea. Every minute spent was amazing, until when we finally headed home. I truly got exhausted.

I got a pack of food which i devoured immediately I got back to Buea that same evening. It was already 9pm by the time I finished eating, I went to bed, and woke up 2hours afterwards. I just can't sleep easily...

Today was awesome, I hope I don't go to bed without praying. It was a day well spent.
