How Can You Help Your Community Forge A Gender Equal World?
How I can help my community or society forge a gender equal world is through my contributions in these simple ways
- Education
By educating and enlightening the women that they are not just sex objects or baby making machine is a long way to go in helping them. I will educate them on their usefulness in the financial responsibility of their homes to their husband and children. Educating them on their role as a woman and what is she represent. - Provide job opportunities
When a woman is also a part of the financial contribution in her home, it makes her feel belonging and useful. When job opportunities are provided, she can assist and support her husband with the payment of some bills. Most importantly, she must learn to do this in submission and loyalty and not in a way to take the headship from her husband.
Can Celebrating In Women's International Day increase visibility and equality
Yes. In Nigeria the women's international day is a very big deal. Brands, companies, churches all celebrate this day. The reason is to bring awareness to the women gender by first appreciating them for their work so far in their homes and public. Celebrating the mother, daughters, nieces, aunties and even girls. Secondly, enlightning them on womanhood and how to explore and evolve as a woman. So I strongly believe celebrating the women's international day we increase disability and equality
What Do You Say About Women In Top Positions Like President, Senators, CEO, COO? Give Possible Example In Your country (community)
In my country Nigeria, the women gender are really doing well when it comes to politics, administration and development and personally I think it is a good one. This will encourage other women to also see themselves as pacesetters and goal-getters and not just baby making machines. Here are some Nigerian ladies that are making waves in the country Ngozi okonjo-iweala, Eloho Aiboni, Nneka Onyeali Ikpe, Yemis Edu

Ngozi okonjo-iweala is one of the well-known women excelling in the country. she was an ex minister of finance in Nigeria and held the position for two different president. She was the number 2 world Bank woman I recently got a job at the World Trade Organization(WTO)
What Makes A Good Leader (Gender Or Merit)
A good leader is not gender-based I cannot see because she is a woman she can run a company or because he is a man he can become a good president. A good leader should be one who knows the job of leading the people and is accountable for such job and function. A good leader is one that we go that extra mile to yield a positive change and development to the same country or people he or she is leading and this has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with whether they are a male or female
Conclusion
To conclude my post I would love to say that we all can help our community form a gender-equal world where no gender is segregated or discriminated by educating the people and also by providing job opportunities for them. Every gender is special and unique. In my country Nigeria, we have women who are pacesetters in politics, administration, entertainment and this is a very good and pleasing sight to see because it encourages other women to do more.
I will invite @josepha @ruthjoe @ngoenyi to join this contest
Hi @beewrites, it's been a while......
Of course no gender is to be discriminated, but we see it happen more to the female gender where a father will tell his female child to stay at home while the males in the family goes to school. Reason; because she will marry and become someone's property.
But the world itself is revolving and the female gender is knowing their stand.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful write up. I wish to read more from you
