Introduction

This is the most painful thing I've ever experienced this year, to lose a dear one, though it's said that we will all die someday, it still doesn't does not cancel the fact that there is going to be grievance and a deep heart felt pain 🤧😭 for those persons whether it was their right time or not.

It was not long ago that I lost my King, My Father, and My Uncle and his wife to an assasination attack, he was killed on his way back from a coronation.

The person I lost

On the day of his passing, he was with my Father who went there pay him a visit, and that was the day my Father was coming back.

The Fon left the village of Wei and was headed back to his village Esu when he was attacked by armed men. And he was stabbed to death😭😢
When we head the news,we were dumb founded, tears rolled down my eyes as I was trying to imagine how it happened. That day I couldn't sleep, I was scared to death, the news was very surprising, who must have done such a thing to my Uncle, who hated him that much so as to kill him and his wife.
The more I thought of it, the more I got more and more depressed.

The Fon of Esu

An empty throne in the Esu Fondom 😢

A family man

He was a good man, who ruled over his people with a good heart, he wasn't partial in his judgement, he encouraged everyone to take up a job especially the young boys in the Fondom, it was during his reign that the Fondom experienced a lot of progress in economics, in infrastructure, in roads and so much more.
He encouraged excessive crop production in his reign.

How I Handled it

It wasn't easy to bear the sudden death of my Uncle, but we had to stay strong and follow the tradition. Since my Uncle was badly wounded, that is he had cuts all over his body from the multiple stabbings 🤧, we had to lay him to the ground very next day without putting him in the morgue.
After laying him to the ground, we had to mourn his wife properly since her body wasn't very destroyed by the killers, so we kept her in the movie while we made arrangements for a Funeral program.
Unfortunately I couldn't accompany my siblings to the Village grounds because of security problems, and also school matters, so I could only view from my phone how the activities we're done, I was very sad for not going. But I stayed strong.
During the funeral program, tradition demands that the children of the King should put on his clothes so they can represent him in spirit.

Here are my siblings standing as representative to my Uncle and wife, though they are berieved, they still manage to smile .
Thanks to God the funeral program went on without any problems whatsoever, there was no gunshots, no attacks from gun men.

Everyone came back home safely, and the program was a success, but the question they posed was who planned the assasination and why and the people decided that no one will mount the throne unless justice is served the right way or another way.
That concludes my talk I invite @rockana, @b-naj, @nanbzu.
