Diary Game of 10-11-2024. Making The Most Of the Day

I've observed many sunrises but this one caught my eyes most, it is the horizon of a mountain top I stay where there is the highest point in West Africa which is Mount Cameroon, I dream of reaching it's peak one day and I'll do it.

Well I'm back again with some awesome headlines about my day, I'm writing this late because I was procrastinating a lot and thinking about the details of the arrangements and presentation but I did the 1, 2, 3 thing and just started writing because if 8 were to procrastinate any further I wouldn't have written to you

How my day went

I'm very pleased I was able to see a new day, I mean with all what have been going on in our town, I've heard of many people passing away, some of them were natural while others were caused by disease. That's why I thank God for blessing me always with life.

I woke up and did the morning chores, this time there were no chicks to feed because we've sold all of them and we're waiting for another batch to come. This meant that I had less to do and before I could realize I was done with the house chores and I was already making breakfast for Mom.

Later in the day I got to make some food, I was to make tomatoes stew and yams, this got me excited because I was given a chance to show my culinary skills. So I gathered the ingredients which included tomatoes, pepper, onions, green spices, njansa, green peppers, meat and the yam to be made.

The ingredients were washed and those to be ground were grounded and the meat was sliced, washed and steamed. The meal took a little longer to make because our gas was very slow but I was able to pull it off. At about 3pm, the meal was ready and the yam was made in the stone fireside because of how slow the cooker was.

After a sumptuous meal, I got to rest a bit before the meeting started in our house, every Sunday we always have a cultural meeting which takes about 2 to 3 hours we locally call it a niangi meeting and I don't know any modern name for it, maybe ill find out later.

Since the meeting was held at home I had to be outside and I was making use of my phone to entertain myself by playing a game. Also I followed up on my mining projects which I had abandoned for a while. The meeting was over in the said 3 hours and I had to pack up the house and tidy it.

The house was tidied and all that was left was to watch something on the TV but unfortunately and as usual the remote is being monopolized by my mom and all she cares about is her Indian series which takes all night to watch and before you know it you're already at 11pm, well I always spend those times watching tiktok or scrolling through steemit posts.
