Diary Game of 16-11-2024. Shopping for My Trip

The school bells have been ringing ever since the beginning of this week and I've been purposely avoiding to answer it because of a few reasons first because I don't want to leave all this comfort here and secondly because I haven't gotten enough clothes for school.

How my day went

Waking up at 5am, I got to my morning prayers, thanking God for his goodness and mercies in my life, I mean why not everyday. After the prayer I got to doing house chores which as of now was to clean up the house then fetch water. Then I had breakfast and prepared to go to the market. My mom gave me corn to make fowl feed.

I had to carry it with me on a bike, it weighed about 32kg and that was to give about 1 bag of feed for the field we had left. We are growing them for Christmas meat so as to avoid spending to buy from the market, agriculture is the key to avoid spending that's why I do it.

I got to the mill and there was a queue so I had to keep the corn for them to ground it and went to get other things like some clothes and what I lacked were under wears and singlets which I bought from my aunts. The sun was very hot this morning and the noise in the market was unbearable. I couldn't spend much time in the market so I stayed about 30 minutes in the market with my aunts

I reached the mill when they were still grinding the corn I brought and mixing the various ingredients for the fowls to eat, I was making a groundnuts feed this will make them grow stronger and bigger. 10 minutes after waiting ,.the feed was ready and I took another bike to carry me and the bag home. I spent about 40 STEEM for everything.

I got home and it was already 2pm, so I had spent a lot of time in the market so I had to get to work immediately with the betel leaf I bought to cook, I started by pounding it to mush them, then scrub them to wash off the dirt and bitter tastes. Then I boiled them alongside the various spices to make the soup and corn fufu followed sought.

The meal was ready at 4pm and I shared it amongst the family, they like it so much from there I took my bathe and called it a day with all the chores and activities. From there all I could do was to take a short nap, of about 2 hours of course.

The evening had me watching tiktok and munching on the food I made for dinner. Eating vegetables is the most healthy thing anyone can do for themselves after morning exercises. After the meal I got to work on my telegram projects until my sleep time came. I'll be back with more to tell you dear diary so I'll see you very soon.
