Steem Cameroon Contest- My Short Movie Script (week 4)

Good day steemians of Cameroon and the world, it’s been a while since I ventured into contests because I’ve been focusing on Diary games but today it’s time to try a new thing so I’m here to write out and express my Short movie script. Thanks to @steem-cameroon, today’s theme is based on Good and Evil.

Short understanding of the words: Good and Evil

Good and evil are two contrary words and I’ll explain each one separately though from the definition of one word , the word will automatically be known.

GOOD
The word good to me means being in a state of absolute and complete desirable and positive qualities which a person can own as a built in character.

EVIL
This is a state of complete bad and undesirable characters portrayed by a person. It usually makes them the villain of a movie or story.

My Movie is titled; The Clones of Distant Universe

Name your characters

Doctor Sams A well renowned scientist who invented a life changing program known as the Make A Clone program and is very much honored for it.

Manswell The only son to Doctor who was diagnosed with a terminal disease at the age of 25 and didn’t want his wife and kid to know because it would break their hearts.

Amie The beloved wife of Manswell who is a loving wife, mother and daughter, she deals with interior designing and some legal stuff.

DaniellaThe only daughter to Manswell she loved her Father so much and they were so attached.

Plot(play) the movie in writing form.

My movie is a science fiction that starts out in a universe far away where Doctor Sams discovers and successfully started the cloning program. This program was aimed at extending the immortality of humans who didn’t want to die so soon and also for those who want to complete a project. But there is always a down side when humans try to play God and it comes when Doctor Sams cloned his Son Manswell who had a brain tumor and was to die in less than a month.

Manswell turned to his father for help since he didn’t want his wife to know, he kept it a secret from them. Manswell’s father decided to help since obviously it’s his son and he was driven by emotions and didn’t want to lose his son the second time. The first time was when Manswell got married and decided not to visit his father because he was tending to his wife Amie and child after a long time of secretly preparing his son for the cloning process he found himself constantly confronted by Amie who suspected something wasn’t going well with her husband but Doctor Sams just blocks Amie and lies to her.

During the cloning process, Doctor James successfully cloned Manswell and the first clone he made had everything right that is no tumor, right character and everything just the same as Manswell. Just as he was about to call it a day, he thought to himself that since this first clone will just leave him again to go to his wife, he decided to make a second clone of Manswell who will be the son he wanted to stand by his side.. so he created the second clone but things didn’t seem right it turns out that this second clone was the true definition of Evil.

The Evil clone pretended to be of good character and deceived Doctor Sams and sneaked out of the research center since he has Manswell’s memory (As of this point the real Manswell had passed away) he went back to his wife and said he was from a long business trip. But the good clone and the Doctor Sams caught up to him and it was a stand off with Amie in the middle feeling confused as to who is her Husband or who seemed like her, both of them said all the secrets things only Amie and Manswell would know which made her much more confused so in the middle of that argument Amie burst out in tears and started crying.

Then Daniella came into the seating room and asked the Good Clone saying “Father what’s wrong with Mum” as Amy saw that she immediately hugged the good clone, leaving the Evil clone angry to the point of attempting to harm them with a knife then suddenly he fell to the ground and died. It turned out that he picked up the severe case of the tumor from Manswell which he couldn’t survive. From there the good Clone and Doctor Sams had to tell Amie the truth which made her cry more but then she came to an understanding because she knew that her husband was dying because she found his drugs in their bedroom and also carried out an investigation that confirmed it.

Amie was happy with the fact that she gets to be with part of her husband again and make new memories as a family… Meanwhile Doctor Sams was feeling lonely in his lab where he practically lived then suddenly a knock on the door and it was Manswell’s clone coming in with a bottle of whiskey for them to share. After some time drinking and discussing, the clone told Sams that his late son always thought of him, and was very proud of his discovery this made him happy and sad because Manswell couldn’t tell him that face to face that he was proud of him.
