Succulent, sweet, delicious and tasty
Hello y’all it’s your favorite foodie here to give you an insight of another day I find interesting to me and since I just discovered it I’m glad it exist and I’m glad they created such a day and I’m also glad to share it with you. Today is World Chocolate 🍫 day… 😀 isn’t that awesome?… without further ado let’s get into business.
What do you know about the day? |
---|
World Chocolate day was established in 2009 this was to mark the first day chocolate made its entrance into Europe in 1550. Chocolate as we know it is made from the seeds of the Theobroma cacao tree which is grown in America, Mexico but mostly in Africa now with about 70 of the trees being grown in Africa.
The delicious and sweet taste you sense when you eat chocolate didn’t just start out sweet. The cacao seeds are actually very bitter prior to harvesting but when allowed to ferment and roasted slowly under low heat, grounded and molded, it develops the sweet taste that makes people (especially girls) going yummmm.
How do you or your country or your organization celebrate the day? |
---|
Whether you like it bitter, black or brown or sweet, molded or semi-liquid, today everyone is allowed to enjoy their preferred chocolate and celebrate the day.
Besides it’s taste, chocolate has lots of antioxidants and is believed to put people in a good mood always, no wonder lots of people like it especially me.
Also, chocolate when consumed the right way maintains and most times induces weight loss, it also reduces high blood pressure and a lot of other health benefits which I’d keep for another day.
What impact does your community gain during and after the commemoration? |
---|
Apart from the fact that sales will go up for chocolate companies today, there’s also a special benefit that comes from sharing chocolate with friends or even having it on your own. There is a great improvement on your mood as you feel the flow of dopamine induced by the antioxidants in chocolate, you can also use cocoa to garnish your cakes and ice cream 🍨.
Chocolate for kids help improve their brain functions and keeps them happy 😊, for old people, it keeps their blood pressure low, for adults (not very old) it gives energy, a full stomach and so much more.
What issue or concern will you recommend to be commemorated this week and on what date? |
---|
Another day to commemorate this week is national ice cream sundae day. A day like no other where you can have a great ice cream sundae without considering it’s downsides this day is a cheat day for those on a diet.
I live here today and hope to catch you again next time and I’m inviting @bellamatioyim @wintia23 and @newtonb.
Thank you, friend!
