Steem greetings from the motherland-Cameroon, and welcome to my blog as I celebrate my 3rd anniversary on Steemit today. Today marks exactly three years since I created my account and started the journey on Steemit. It was on this day in 2020 at exactly 9:00 PM I was introduced to the platform. That evening, I could not sleep trying to create an introductory post. It has been an amazing journey so far with no regrets.
I always share on some of my posts what motivated me to join the platform. Initially, I lost my job during the COVID-19 pandemic as my office issued us letters that the office has been suspended till further notice. Little did we know that was the end of the office, I needed something to keep me busy and also earn a little income to assist in paying bills.
Along the way, I become more interested and I was rather eager to know more about crypto. I found interest in the crypto academy whereby via the weekly lessons, I was able to participate and learn more about crypto. The Academy helped me to invest some of my savings into buying and selling some coins.
Today, I can say never underestimate anything you do in life. Put all your interest on as if your life depends on it and be rest assured that in the long run, you will look back and be proud of who you have become. Today, I can look back at my Steemit wallet and smile because I have achieved a lot via the platform.
Also, the journey was not without challenges. There were tough moments when I felt like quitting and concentrating on other things but I kept pushing.
Ladies and gentlemen, join me today let's celebrate with love. Hopefully, as you celebrate with me today, you will be the next to be celebrated 🙌🫶✌️.
