The Diary Game [15/04/2024] // Ghost Town Activities.

Steem greetings all the way from the motherland-Cameroon to all friends on the steemit ecosystem. It is yet another bright day for me to share my daily routine with you all. Every Mondays, we are grounded at home due to separatists fighters imposed ghost town.

In such days, going out is a NO for me because the streets at times are heavily militarised by state armed forces and the separatists fighters. Moving on the streets on such a day is highly risky and can cost your life. I and my family always stay at home and engaged in final preparations for the next day work week begins on Tuesday.

When I got up from bed, I did my morning meditation 🧘‍♀️ and headed to the bath where I did my morning hygiene routine. Then had to prepare breakfast for the family. I had bought some plantains on Saturday and when I checked it this morning, all has ripen. I had to fry some of the plantains and egg for breakfast.

As always a tradition for me, I had to feed my boy to ensure he eats well. When we were done eating breakfast, I had to cut the remaining plantains keep them to be washed and preserve them in the fridge. I cannot cook all the plantains at once but we keep them in the fridge and it can last for about a month if the fridge does not switched off.

I then login to steemit to reply all comments made on my posts and also upvoted some user’s content. Then I soaked my baby’s dresses with detergents and allow for about 30 minutes before washed them. The weather today was good for the dresses to get dried up well.

I took about an hour and half to wash the baby’s dresses while he was sleeping. Immediately I was done washing, it seem as if someone notified the baby to wake up from sleep. I prepared phusphatine with milk and fed him with. Then I bath him and he went back to sleep. I removed watermelon from the fridge to stay hydrated and not affected by the scorching sun.

Easter break is over and schools in my city resume tomorrow for the third term session of the academic year 2023-2024. My daughter’s school has send us parents messages reminding us on the school hair style with no attachment. We are required to plait just corn rows. I had to undo the Easter hair do and plaited her cornrows.

When I was done with the hair, I had to prepare dinner for the family. I had ingredients for eru and garri ready in the fridge. I quickly removed them and straight to the kitchen and prepared dinner. I was so busy that I forgot to eat lunch. I took less than 2hours to prepare the meal and served everyone.

My day was crowned with the whole family watching the English premier league game between Chelsea and Everton. None of us was supporting either teams because my husband is a gunner. Nonetheless, it was an interesting game with early hard trick by Cole Palmer. This dude has been on fire these days and giving hard tricks back to back for his club Chelsea.

The game ended at 97th minutes with the scores 6:0. Everton just had a bad day. After the game, I decided to drop my diary post for the day and zoomed out to my bedroom. Until my next diary session, happy work week @everyone.
