The Diary Game [22/02/2025] // A Stressful Day

Steem greetings @everyone and welcome to my blog as I share my lifestyle content with you all. It is yet another day to be grateful while hoping to meet up with my daily endeavours.

Guys, it has not been easy with me with the present weather conditions in my area, each day I feel like I owe like a month of sleep and rest to be able to face the days ahead. Temperatures these days are extremely hot, coupled with the dust. Moving around town is challenging as I constantly suffer from heat rashes and flu. I used to put on a facemask to protect myself from the harmattan dust but later developed an allergy on my face each time I put on a facemask.

Breakfast is a usual thing to do early in the morning for the family before going out for an appointment. Today, I decided to prepare something different from our usual fried potatoes or plantains and eggs. I decided to prepare acra beans with pap. I do not usually like to prepare something different for breakfast from our usual because my kids might not want to eat.

After feeding my kids, I had to take a walk to the local market to buy some food kinds of stuff. The roads were so empty, unlike Saturdays with heavy traffic. This shows that the conflict is gradually crippling the town.

While at the market, I moved to the section where I could buy in bulk at cheaper prices. It shocked me that most of the items I bought at another local market, the same items in this market the prices were almost doubled. I also noticed that the sellers examine your physical appearance before pricing their goods and I was surprised one of the sellers made a comment to me that pissed me off and I could not help but return home.

I could not go to the usual market I used to buy because my baby was sick. The transitioning of the weather is affecting him and I needed to closely monitor him. While at home, I had to prepare lunch for us to eat.

In the evening hours, I watched the English premiere league games between Arsenal versus Westham and Chelsea versus Aston Villa. They were both interesting games to watch and the race for the winner of the league is tough. At one point, I had to administer drugs to my baby.

I concluded my day by watching the Laliga game between Barcelona versus LPA. I was feeling exhausted and had to call it a day without completing the game. Until my next diary game, it is goodnight from my end.
