I was awakened by an electric switch being turned on, letting out its glow on my face (I am one of those who do not sleep with the lights on). Mum quickly said, I'm glad you didn't stress me about waking you up. She added" get up and prepare". It's time to go to where was discussed yesterday. Good morning, I'll be ready soon, I said.
I got up from my bed, I made my way to the bathroom, freshened up, and I was ready for the
journey.
We were going on a visit to our farm at Ediene Abak, though it was not for agricultural purposes but for architectural purposes. We arrived at the farm after three transportation trips. We went there with three medium long pipes and all through the journey I envisaged how and what they were going to be used for. On arrival, the plants were growing very well.
However, since we had another aim for visiting, which was to get soil samples, we had to quickly dive into it. The soil samples were collected by forcefully driving each pipe into the soil at different places on the farm, thereby leaving different strata of soil in each pipe. It was covered firmly after each collection. Well, my mouth was ajar because I had never seen soil samples collected in such a manner. I asked aloud what this was going to be useful and, she replied the soil samples were going to be used to determine how deep, or how shallow the foundation of the building would be. This left me more bewildered (like how was it going to be used? I thought to myself) but then I concluded that "truly learning never ends". After this ordeal was over, we headed home and arrived at about a few minutes past 10.
After my breakfast of Garri and soup, I headed to Akpan andem Market to get some food stuffs and also visited the cold room to get frozen fish. The experience was a little besetting as prices of things were still on the rise.
On the lunch menu today we were going to prepare moi-moi (bean pudding). It was not just anyone but the one wrapped with leaves. It was an exciting experience as we were going to have this August delicacy for lunch. After much ado and preparation, we ate a yummy and delicious moi-moi for lunch.
At about 3:30pm, I left home to attend some home lessons. It was a fruitful experience as the learner was ready to learn, thereby making his academic journey progressive. I got home about a few minutes past 6. I took my bath, had my dinner, the same thing as my SGS report and search still to tell you about my day after now I will be retired today for some rest it was truly and overwhelming day
Goodnight and see you tomorrow
