Steem greetings from my end, hope you are all doing okay. So sorry i have been super busy with work. I come here to share with you all how i spent the last day of a crazy hectic week i had. As a human rights activist, we have been engaged all these while in the 16days activism on the fight against gender-based violence and it still continues next week.
I got up yesterday at 4am, prayed and immediately took my laptop to prepare my presentation of the day after which i went right ahead to make my bed, clean the house and heat my bathing water. As the water got to the desired temperature, i realized i had soaked dresses in water and was obliged to wash them. I did so immediately, had my bath and headed out.
I arrived the office at 7:30am inorder to put things together, i was to receive t-shirts for the girl's conference our organization was hosting. I waiting on the delivery guy till he came, i put the other workshop tools together and headed out to get a taxi. I realized the things were much and so i called a male colleague to come help me out. He attended to me immediately. We got a taxi together and finally took off to the workshop venue.
I arrived when participants were already making their way in and it gave me some joy. I greeted, welcomed them and started sharing the t-shirts and workshop materials with the help of other colleagues.
After sharing those things we kick started the workshop. I presented on femininity and masculinity, other colleagues presented on mentrual hygiene and human rights. We rounded up at about 3pm, with every participant leaving with a sense of fulfillment.
We assembled our workshop tools and left to get a taxi. We got back to the office at 4:15pm, exhausted. We dropped the things and decided to say goodbye to work for the day. I arrived home at 5:30pm, discussed my day with my parents and siblings, had a cool shower and headed to my room where i started writing the report of the activities. I couldn't complete it due to tiredness and decided to get some rest.

I understand you were talking about violence against the weaker gender ie the women.
Hope you also know and understand that the weaker gender also perpetrate violence against their husbands but yet we are blind to that fact.
Most at times physical violence demonstrated by men is as a result of emotional violence they go through from some women.
Hope we are not blind to this as well?
