Every year on December 10, World Human Rights Day is celebrated. The day give us awareness about the rights of humans of all nations, religions, gender and languages. This day tells us that every person in this world have equal rights, justice and thus should be protected under the laws and this protection is human right. The day is celebrated on a specific theme and with a new hope that all humans of this world will be provided their basic human rights and this year's theme is "Our Rights, Our Future, Now". Human rights are the rights that every person as a human being should be given respect, dignity and security without making any difference of rich and poor. After World War II, Human Rights Day is celebrated in all over the world on December 10 for giving us awareness about the importance of this day.

Give a brief description of your mascot.

Our world will be a better place for living if we are united and compassionate towards people. This mascoy shows that we should give respect to other people without destinguish any race, nation, religion or country. This mascot also showing that we must unite like hands in hands to demand our rights. We should be unite to having equall rights and should raise our voice against any violence of human rights collectively.

What changes do you think this day has brought to your community?

World Human Rights Day is about equal rights for humans. This dy helps us to increase awareness about the rights of humans both individually and socially so that everyone can makr a respectful mindset towards other people. The celebration of this day has made a lot of changes in my community now. The ceminars has been conducted especially about Women's rights and children's rights. This day also tells us about education that it is the basic right to study for both boys and girls. Conducting inclusive and collaborative education programs for all have now become fundamental and important. People are now showing resistance against those who violate human rights. Respect for people as human beings and respect for other nations is being respected mean when we give respect to others, definitely we will receive repect. A excellent behaviour of tolerance and harmony has been created between people. Human Rights Day has made powerfull affect on my community and brought positive change in the society of my country Pakistan, but there are also some challenges as well.

Who are the active promoters, and what do you think can be added to make more impact in your community?

The National Commission for Human Rights is the active promoter of this day in my country declared Pakistan's Constitution and international treaties. This commission receives complaints of people about human rights violations in Pakistan, investigates the complaints, resolves them under the law and raises awareness. Apart from the National Commission of Human Rights, various organizations are actively working on for providing equall human rights for all citizens.

The National Commission for Human Rights Act, 2012 stipulates a broad and overarching mandate for the promotion, protection and fulfillment of human rights, as provided for in Pakistan's Constitution and international treaties.

For making this day celebration more impactful in our community, the day can be celebrated at the grassroots level so that every single person can be made aware of the importance of this day. The use of technology for promoting the awareness of this day can be adapted like through social media apps. This will bring positive changes in our community.
