GOD VERSUS GOOD

Comparatively it is possible to state a clear distinction between good and evil, Light and darkness, night and day, white and black. It obviously easy to place a clear distinction between the extremes.

However it is an arduous task distinguishing that which is Good from that which is Godly. Man starting from the beginning of his existence has often had confusion distinguishing between that which is Godly and that which is Good.

First instance of deception man encurred as a result of his ignorance of Godly will was in the garden of Eden. So the devil approached Eve telling her to eat the fruit which God had instructed them not to eat. The Devil presented all the amazing and good benefits that fruit will have to them. He told them if they eat of that fruit they will become Like God. Well that sounded to them Like a very good thing and a good choice, I mean who wouldn't want to be Like God? Anyways they where totally unware of the impending danger of that action. At the end of the day they gained the knowledge of Good and evil and loosed their positions in God's divine plan.

Second example occurs when the Devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness. They devil cane to Jesus offering alot promise, and beautiful things to him. Promising him to give nations to him. Well all this things where really good things but at what Cost where this good things earned?🤔 Jesus figured out all the tricks of the devil and he rebuked him of. He wanted Jesus to go against the will of the Father.

Am sure you have read or heard somewhere that the Devil us the father of lies, which is true by the way! But I want you to understand he does come telling black and white lies. He actually tells you the truth with omissions of motive or intend. The devils truths are lies in covered with an appearance of truth. His gifts are good with however with attribute that defiles Gods divine will.

The Big question is ;

WHAT MAKES A GOOD THING GODLY?

A good thing is Godly if it exhibits and attribute of perfection in motive and it aligns with God's own will and preferences.
It is very important we understand this. The factor perfection is tired to all things God is involved in. They are many good things and but when you find a good thing with the exceptional quality of of perfection then it is divine.

what is perfection as per this context?

Perfection is a quality that refers to right timing, right placement, right motives, involving the right people. Infact perfection is a scenario that occurs when things fall inline with God's divine will.

It is very important we take these things very seriously becuase we are living in an era where there is constant dispute between Godly endorsements and goodly endorsements. Your choices in Life should be made based on Godly injunction not just goodly bidding. Sometimes we fail to see that Godly decisions are better than Good decisions only. For example travelling abroad is a good thing but is in line with Godly ordinance. Sometimes we have chaotic results because we choose a good thing and never gave attention to divine counsel.

As from today I urge you to choose Godly(good and perfect) and Not just Goodly.😁
