INTRODUCTION

Hello friends, how are you guys doing? I guess you're all doing well.
This is a very nice and interesting contest in the @steem-cameroon community which was organized by our hardworking friend in person of @chant, and i am very glad to be taking part in it.
The theme of the contest is Marriage for Life or Contract marriage.

WHAT IS YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE STATEMENT "FOR BETTER AND FOR WORSE TILL DEATH DO US PART"?

For better and for worse, till death do us part are both wedding vows which the husband and wife will say it to each other by repeating after the pastor.

According to my understanding, the statement "for better and for worse" means thar husband and wife will remain faithful and committed to each other no matter what happens in the future.

While "till death do us part" means that no matter what may come between the husband and wife that they won't separate till they get old together and die.

WHICH DO YOU PREFER, MARRIAGE FOR LIFE OR CONTRACT MARRIAGE?

Honestly, I can't even consider a contract marriage, i prefer marriage for life because i will get to be with my partner for life and she will be with me through the bad and good times

Marriage for life will give you a life partner who will be with you through out your life struggles, whereas contract marriage, when once the contract expires the marriage is over and your partner go his/her separate ways.

"DO YOU AGREE THAT HOUSE CHORES SHOULD NOT BE A ROLE ATTACHED TO A PARTICULAR GENDER?

Yes, i definitely agree that house chores should not be a duty assigned to one particular gender.
Is true the wife was meant to assist her husband, but it doesn't mean that she is going to be doing everything in the house alone like a house help.

Husband and wife were meant to be assisting each other in everything, the husband can do the house chores he sees that his wife is busy with something else, or his wife isn't feeling too well, or they can both join hands in doing the house chores together to make it fast and fun.

CO! SIDER YOURSELF A SPECIALIST IN THE FIELD, AND SHARE SOME TIPS WITH THE YOUTH ABOUT MARRIAGE?

Below are the few tips i will like to give to the youth concerning marriage:

1. Before you even think of marriage, make sure you spend some time living with each other

2. Always apologize when you're wrong, and before you go to bed

3. Appreciate the little things your partner does

4. Never rush into marriage because of how handsome or beautiful someone is, first of all get to know him or her to know his/her character before you even think of taking the next step

5. Value your relationship

6. If the person you intend to marry has any stupid character that always annoys you, never go into marriage thinking that he or she will change in future.
