Recorded a sad case of human rights violation

Yesterday, information circulated on social media platfotms about a man by the name Ikome Daniel who is estimated to be in his 60s who allegedly raped a 4 years old girl in Buea, South West region of Cameroon.

Whilst the forces of law and order are still investigating the case, it is alleged that the accused was rescued by the law enforcement forces from the hands of the angry population that beat him almost to death.
Unconfirmed information has it that he was pulled out of his room naked, with the 4years old girl who had traces of blood on her body (suspected to have been raped). The accused man is still pleading not guilty and claiming innocence. The law will determine his fate through due process.

Laws violated by this action
This act of human rights violation allegedly perpetrated by Ikome Daniel contradicts a set of both National (Cameroon) and International laws, amongst which are:

• The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948)
• Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Violence Against Women (CEDAW) - 1979
• Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989)
• Cameroon Penal Code

In the strongest terms, I condemn this heinous act perpetrated against a minor.
Let us fight against rape and all forms of human rights violations.
It is really disgusting to do that to a child of 4years old. Imagine the age difference, that's like a grandpa and his grand daughter who cant even spell her name (maybe).
