Education can be define as both the act of teaching knowledge to others and the act of receiving knowledge from some one else. Education also refers to knowledge received through schools or instructions and to the institution of teaching as a whole.

Education can be divided intointo formal, informal and non education.

Education reform is process of constantly renegotiating and restructuring educational standards.

if i were the minister of education some of the measure i will take to ensure education reform are as follows;

1. Ensure and make sure that schools all over the country have enough,compitent and adequate teaching staffs, class rooms and teaching materials needed for a teaching and learning process.
2. Ensure that all practical associated subjects have well constructed laboratories equipped with all materials needed for teaching and learning process
3. Ensure the number are of subjects studied in one academic school year is reduce to about 10 so it ease the teaching process and makes the learning process easy for the students
4. The content of subjects will br changed and students will be thought about the evolution, development, industrialization and history or our own country
   5.Will set ange limit of atlist 12years olde for admission into secondary schools because at age of 12 the student is can reason enough n will able to cope with studies.
5. Students should will not be promoted to next class with an average of less than 9.00 this will encourage students to work hard n discourage Lazziness.
6. Students who are stubborn and try to compete with teachers or lay thier hands on?teachers for any reason should be expelled from the institution with immediate effect
7. strick security measures n security will be enforced in schools to monitor classes and students around campus at all time this will help prevent scandals n fighting among students on campus
8. Teachers will be followed up by school authorities to ensure that that the punctual and regular and that thier syllabus are completed on time and report given to appropriate authorities
9. Encourage sports n physical educations in our schools
10. Ensure that all schools have guidance counselors that will able to guide and councel patients who are suffering from psychological n emotional problems affecting their studies.

These are some of the measures i will take to help reform education if i was the minister of Education and i strongly believe if some of thos measures are taken there will be a great change in our educational system.
