Cameroon steemit Njangi (3SBD) Beneficiary post by @fombae

Njangi is a local initiative practice in our community, Cameroonian parents especially in my community realized most of their through Njangi. Njangi can be a local means of getting a loan to be paid in a bit, or saving which is done in a bit. This is usually done among friends, and the loan goes without any interest.

  • They are many forms of Njangi:

Financial (fiat currencies): Everyone brings in an equal amount, and it handed to one particular member
Labour( workforce): Everyone come together and give a helping hand to a member (example: Clearing a members farm)
Etc

Steemit Njangi was to create the same njangi initiative for cameroon steemians to come together and contribute 3 SBD to empower a member to achieve a particular goal. While others are saving, some will be paying back their loan, and one person will be the beneficiary for the huge loan of the day.

I will be benefiting from today's payout of the 3 SBD Cameroon Steemit Njangi. I did not mention above, Njangi have rules and specific purpose which have to achieve. Here I will be expected to power up 25% and 75% for a domestic activity of my choice.

How will I used my 75%

We are in the most strenuous period of farming which required time and manpower. Farming is divided into clearing, seedbed preparation, sowing, weeding, and inter cultivation and harvesting.

We passed the period of seedbed preparation and sowing, and it time for weeding and inter cultivation. This is time-consuming, needs energy and manpower. Weeding is done with a hand hoe, pecking of climbing crops, spraying of pesticides. Another problem is the season, we are in the rainy season and it not advisable to work in the rain, so work is done in breaks. For the past years, my mom has been doing this all on her own.

So I will be investing my 75% in employing more hands to help in the weed and inter cultivation, which will help cover more during small breaks of the rainfall. The buying of sticks for the climbing crop, fertilizer, and pesticide for spraying.

Why do I need to do this investment?

It is not advisable to pair plants and weeds, It will cost a great loss in crop yields and quality. So it advisable to take off the weed from the plants, giving the plants more access to water and nutrient from the soil. Lastly, we are using a local mechanism that is labor and energy-demanding.

With this, I will be coming back with results of my 75% in two months which will be the harvest period. I bet your yields this year will be more encouraging than in previous years. Thanks, guys for keeping the spirit, let steem on

Wishing you great yields and the possibility to scale to more farms.

The ground indeed never deceives us hence investing in it is the best decision you have made because you will see the rewards clearly. It’s a good venture and initiative that will also assist your sweet mother because weeding can be very demanding and draining too but thank God more workforce will be joining her. This is definitely what every mother will wish for from their children.

Yeah, given that it a vast piece of land. She will need helping hands, you during this period if care is not taken the quality of the yield will greatly reduced.

Wow I have learn different kinds of njangi.its a good idea for you to help mom employ people who will assist her and it is also good to weed in time for the crops to do well

Yeah my brother, weeding is a very energy demanding process in farming. More hands will ease the work and more will be done in a lesser period.

That's true bro.courage

Wow that a good initiative to reduce your mom burden during this farming season ,it’s always the wish of every mother’s to have caring and lovely children, may God blesses your mom to have more harvest this year .

Yeah my dear, it will reduced the work load that comes during weeding and intercultivation. With this, im very positive about this year yields.

Wooow your mom most be proud to have a son as you .you have really done the right thing with your njangi beneficiary to help your mom in the farm by planning to buy all the necessary farming equipments that will help fascilitate her and reduce time and energy consumption..it's true that at this rainy season is really difficult to be working under rain especially using man power ,so with the financial help ,it will eased your mom so so much

Wow that's a good idea. Mum will be so happy for that. Mummy's joy counts alot. God bless you as you keep giving mama reasons to smile.

This is a wonderful innitiative @fombae .They say, agriculture does not fail and i know it is right a choice of investnemt...May the harvest be great and may you reveive huge blessings from your mum.....

👏👏👏👏👏👏
Kudos mr Bull...
Wish you the best on your crop yield this season. I hope the njangi donations will go a long way.

@fombae, wow from your beneficiary post i can tell that there are two powerful njangis running in the @steem-cameroon community, nevertheless i have learnt about types of njangis today that i never knew existed, for example the njangi which entails that members come together and help a single member just like going to farm with them to help them weed or toil the soil, indeed njangis have been one of the major ways that most parents in my community of oku use to pay school fees for their children and also carry out mega projects, i think using your njangi benefits to help your mum with more hands to work in the farm unlike the past years that she use to do it alone will mean alot to her, and as you've said, the yields this year will also be different,we are waiting for you to come testify on steem, lets steem on!

Yeah, some of our parents even completed building projects with Njangi loads or savings. Cameroon steemit Njangi was really a great initiative which will definitely change the life of it members.

@fombae
Looking at these crops like cassava beans and corn, it just takes me to good memories of me helping my mum in the farm. So sad how she has to weed now by herself and yet I do feel long too when am farming alone too.
Great idea as mum will smile more when you employ some workers to help her with weeding process.

Farming is a hobby I love doing with passion.
Me last year during wedding and trust me when you take off the weed from the plants it gives a bountiful harvest

Waouh grand is a caring person and I didn't doubt that for one second. Emmmm I didn't know I've been playing njangi as a worker in my Aunty's farm ohh na today I know😂
Indeed these times are one of the most strenuous in farming not to talk of the various accidents which could happen while farming. The density of grass sometimes harbour stuff like snakes and also we could sustain injuries from the hoe and others so I think you should think of a medical emergency something for that.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I have learnt a lot

The Lord told us that he will bless the work's of our hands. Farming is the most lucrative form of business I have ever come across. Mum will really need the assistance. Weeding the very big piece of land on her own will really be strenous to her and.... Time consuming as well.
After the wedding and adding of fertiliser, I know the results in two months will be massive. I can't wait to see.

I can only say that anything you lay your hands on will work. The njangi initiative is really great. I can wait for my turn so i can start my own project. May your crops yield bountifully. Better to have a large yield before fee harvesters. More grease

Good morning bro. very sorry for the late reaction to post. you know light di worry man very badly dis last days and man no be day down .

most developed countries get about 30% of the GDP from revenue gottoned from agriculture. the soil has never failed and it will never fail.

i wish you a very good harvest and my God bless you and your family.

This is amazing and i really like the fact that you pointed out different forms of Njangi above.
I am glad you are using your steemit Njangi to further guarantee the quality and quantity of your agricultural yields. Your mum, must be very happy with this support.
Now i know who to run to in case of food shortages at my home lol.
Agriculture remains the backbone of our economy and our forefathers say 'ground no di fail man'. That ground work no fit fail wena.
Wishing you the best!

I'm very sure that mum will be very pleased with you and I think she really needs the extra hands seeing as it is a big piece of land. And I believe that the almighty Will bless the work of her hands with a bountiful harvest.
