SEC S20W4 - Crafting Dynamic Layouts with Card, Scrolls, and ClipRRect in Flutter

Task Title 1: How do you create a user profile card layout in Flutter?

I have created a new file MyProfileCardPage, and created the class. To be able to have images displayed, I updated the pubspec.yaml file.

We have the card widget, which has all the necessary sections of the user profile card.

Task Title 2: How to create a weather card layout in Flutter?

Here is not that different, as I will use the card widget to design the weather card. Here, I will be making some changes with fontSize and fontWeight. I have created a new file MyWeatherCardPage to work on.

I have introduced the FontAwesomeIcons package so that I can use some of the icons. Here I had the challenge of applying the background to the calendar icon and text. The options I tried gave me errors. I am waiting to learn how to apply the background.

Task Title 3: How to create a scrollable image gallery in Flutter?

Here, the steps are pretty simple as I follow the steps in the course. I have created a new file MyScrollableImagePage to work on. To hold my images, I created an assets folder in the root directory.

Task Title 4: How to create a news feed user interface in Flutter?

This was so interesting, as I found myself deep into designing. The Challenge here was how to apply alignment and padding. The same structure of the card widget is what I used for one and replicated it. I have created a new file MyNewsFeedPage to work on.

This last task was most exciting, as I came to have more understanding of the card widget. All sections can be accessed from the home page. I used the opportunity of getting used to the navigator widget.
