Greetings Steemit friends
It has been a while, I have been busy and committed to a family situation. It has not been easy putting it all together to make sure everything goes smoothly. Today is the usual Ghost Town day, in which the community stays indoors. This has been going on for the past six years and we are still counting.
Since I have to be home, I always do my other activities which I will go ahead to share. Early in the morning after my hygiene. I log on to Steemit, going through posts in the community. Next, I prepare the necessary contests that have to be posted with the community account. After all that, I go through all booming posts to make sure all were voted as highlighted. By the time I was done with Steemit, my kids were up.
I made breakfast for my kids on their request for noodles. I prepared together with my daughter as she had make me follow her recipes. Breakfast was done and the kids are eating. After breakfast, I jump straight into laundry. I started with shoes, tomorrow's new school week. Having all shoes clean will save time in the morning when preparing for school. I was done with shoes and clothes after midday and tried.
I slept for a while, and my daughter got me up that she was hungry. I heated leftovers, and we all ate together as I made sure my son ate well. After eating, I gave them some time to relax. I called the kids together and we went through their homework. I added other exercises to make sure they understood what they had to do.
In the evening period, it was time for the Cameroon match against Senegal. I turn on the television, and we all watch the match together. The Cameroon team was not a match-up to the Senegalese team. The Senegalese dominated the first half and had a goal from the penalty spot. The second period was not better for team Cameroon. The match ended with a one-goal win in favor of the Senegalese team. This is just a friendly match and have the African Nation Cup in three months. This performance is not encouraging at all, hope for the better.
It was after the match, I put the kids to bed and retired myself for the day.
