Greeting Steemit friends,
It's another weekend, and I’m sure many are excited to take a work break. Wow, it surprises me that the week is over. I feel unaccomplished when I count the days, and I have an unfinished task. Today will be a busy day at my place of work since I will be receiving some students from the Catholic University Bamenda.
I got up at 6:00 AM, and fortunately for me, the light was back. For the past 24 hours, there was no light in the town. So, I started by pressing my shirt, and it is one of the reasons I always avoid dressing in a shirt. The fact that I have to do ironing before putting it on. So, after ironing. I took my bath and got dressed for work.
I got to the office since it was clean the previous day. I started by arranging the chairs and making sure everything was in place. I mounted and tested the projector screen. Like every morning, I prepared coffee while waiting for my colleagues. The program was to start at 8:00 AM, but unfortunately, the students were late so we started at 8:30. At the beginning, we had three students, and the last person showed up 30 minutes late.
It was an exciting event, as I had the chance to tell the student about the work I do and how to manage my start-up. The event was about the student's understanding of how operations are carried out in the company. So, it was a 3-hour event with question and answer sessions. The event ended at midday, and I was grateful after confirmation from the school staff that they achieved their expectations.
After the event is done, I have some time to relax and chat with my colleagues. Before I closed for the day, I had to check some login credentials of a client. I did and decided to close for the day. Yeah, it was early. But I need to go check on my Mom because I had a call that she was not feeling fine. My family was there already, so I had to join them.
I closed for the day and took a taxi to my Mom’s place. I got there when she was home with her grandkids. I joined them and we talked and laughed, while I was waiting for something to eat. I was so hungry that I ate before I remembered I would have taken an image of the meal. Well, it was Garri and Eru served to me by my wife.
It was in the evening that I needed to work on my PC that I noticed the sucker I usually used was bad. So I had to make some arrangements for another position in the house to work while eating snacks. I was done and made a post about the event earlier in the day before finally going to bed.
Cheers

How beautiful you could be in the position to accompany and inspire those who are still school. That actually gives hope and creates a positive image about the job market for future aspirers.... Bravo 👏
Equally amazing how you cut work short and go to your mom for a chat and laugh time. Family is gold

Wow! The ministry is growing, i hope you start receiving interns soonest possible. I can only imagine how tasteful that garri and eru was such that you forgot to take shots. To change ones favorite working angle at home is quite boring. Ashia for the bad socket. Hope you replace it soon. I hope mom is doing fine now
