The Diary Game Season 3 [SundayJanuary 26th, 2025 ]

It is another Sunday, while many are on their way to church. I'm thinking of going for sports. Today I will be curating following the schedule of our team. So I start my day with curating very early. I usually curate in sessions, to be able to do other activities within the day.

After curating at 5 am, I decided to mop the floor before the kids were up. By the time the kids were up, my wife was out on a trip out of town. So I prepared breakfast and helped my toddler. The others could eat by themselves. After breakfast, I left for my Sunday morning sports.

Today I was positioned to play on goal again. It was not a game to write home with as I collected eight goals to my goal. It was a tough match because I made a good number of saves to keep my team in the game. We lost the game eight goals to five for our side. After the match, I took a bike straight home. I needed to join the kids at home and make sure they had lunch.

Today we have a lot of exciting matches in the different European leagues. The most interesting thing is the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City. Both teams have been on a losing streak in their last few matches. So they are going to be at stake, given that Leicester City needs to win to get out of the relegation zone. I'm very particular about their manager, who is a football legend in the English Premier League. It all ended in my favor as Leicester City won the game two goals by J Vardy (46 minutes) and B El Khannouss (50 minutes) to one by Richarlison (33 minutes). Winning this game places Leicester City above the relegation zone with Seventeen points.

The next match is Aston Villa versus West Ham United. I don't have a favorite, but would have loved it if West Ham United took the game at the end of the day. The match ended in a draw, with one goal on both sides. West Ham United had the possession, but could not complete the final third. The goals were scored by J Ramsey (8 minutes) for Aston Villa and Emerson (70 minutes) for West Ham United.

While waiting for the next game, I decided to have my dinner.

Another interesting match was Fulham and Manchester United. The match started at 8 pm Cameroon time. I'm not a Manchester United fan, but I'm a fan of the goalkeeper and interested in the current manager's tactics. Coming from doing well at his previous club(Sporting), it has not been easy with him at Manchester United. I see the manager to be trying a lot of tactics in a single match. Manchester United is working so hard to get the possessions in the game, and at the same time has a very vulnerable defense line. It was a lucky day for them, as the lone goal was a deflection from L Martínez (78 minutes) shot towards goal.

It was after the Manchester United match, I watched the Barcelona game while making this post. It was a successful day for me, as I was able to accomplish most of what I had to do on Sunday. I Did my sports in the morning, spent a lot of time with the kids, and relaxed in front of the TV screen.
