What Your Motive for owning Multiple Accounts on Steemit.

Steem Greeting,

Many steemians have found themselves holding more than one steemit account. some for carrying out fraudulent actions to either cheat or scammer others on the platform. This action will have been looked down on, but users have been abusing the system by creating multiple accounts.

After clicking the terms and conditions when creating our account. We turned to forget that we have to take an obligation ourselves to respect the terms and conditions on the steemit platform. Most online platforms have a section, which makes clear that having multiple accounts for malicious purposes is a breach of terms and conditions. Have you come across this on the steemit platform

Each user is allowed only one paid-for account created via steemit.com. However, users are allowed to create as many accounts as they want on the blockchain. ^source

I'm not concluding that having multiple accounts is an act of fraud, but when accounts are created for fraudulent use. It is an abuse of the system. Statistics have shown that the presence of multiple accounts on a platform has a negative influence on the reputation and damages the company. It is the reason why you will find groups, in collaboration with the steemit team, working to fight against the presence of farming accounts. Most of these accounts are present on the platform to cheat the system and hunt huge votes.

Why will an account be labeled as a farming account?

For some time now on the steemit platform, many fraudulent authors have gone into the race of creating multiple accounts to hunt votes from the system. Managing multi-account, which was created to cheat the system can be seen as an abuser of the platform.

• You are actively using both accounts to cheat the system.
• you are sharing micro or valueless content to have votes
• You have intentionally damaged the identity of one of the accounts.
• Your content is not worth the rewarding

Note, the act of using multiple accounts to farm rewards on the steemit platform is an act not tolerated. It is abused and seen as an act of fraud.

I will be calling on authors on Steem Cameroon Community to avoid creating multiple accounts for malicious reasons. Stick to your account, if you have a problem that requires you to move to another account. The user should have a justified reason for owning multiple accounts. As I mentioned above, the platform has given users the chance of owning multiple accounts. But using it for malicious and sharing valueless content is an abuse of the system.
