Why I would make a good Steem Country Representative for Cameroon

I'm so delighted with the opportunity by @steemitblog to add more country representatives. After months of exploring and having great fun on the steemit platform, starting another endeavor on steemit platform is a pleasure. The aim and objectives of the country representatives are not far distinct from what I want to be on the steemit platform, so it a great opportunity.

My steemit experience

I've had experiences so far on the platform that has also been a learning process. I posted content in different communities, and I can remember when I will translate my content to find a way to be noticed on the platform. I have made mistakes, falling into the trap of copy and past content without reference. As I said, it has been a whole learning process for me, following the newcomer guild by @cryptokannon. It took me some months to understand what a true steemian is after joining in June 2020.

My country and language

I'm a Cameroonian by origin, Cameroon is one of the countries located in central Africa. It is a bilingual country with two official languages (English and French). I can speak both languages, but I good writer in one which is the English language.

Details of any communities you are involved in, and any contests or other activities you organize.

I'm a member of the Steem Cameroon community. I work so hard by holding a meeting with already made country representatives (@njiatanga and @saxopedia) towards the creation of the steem Cameroon community. I have been a full part of the organizing and running of projects in the community. With about 3500SP and one time beneficiaries of 1000SP(Resource Credit Support Program), I have been able to curate and encourage steemians. I was one of the trainers of the first-ever training workshop organizse by the steem Cameroon community. I have been a consistent member of this community and very proud to be the MOD/member of the community.

Why you think you would make a good Country Representative.

For my time on the steemit platform, I have been welcoming newbies that post their introductory posts in the newcomer's community. My engagement with the newcomer's community allowed me to be one of those selected for the Resource Credit Support Program for New Comers. This has also allowed me to follow up and guide Cameroon newbies to complete all achievements. One thing I notice, many will post complete achievement one and abandon the rest. I have learned from the achievements on understanding how to navigate the steemit platform and other steem dApps. So I will be taking it upon me to guide newbies through the rest of their achievements by holding training as Country Representative.

Giving the number of Cameroonians, I and my country representative (@njiatanga and @saxopedia) are working on modding and plan for more recruits. Cameroon will need the help of another country representative, which fits the position for me. With the more acquired knowledge of blockchain from the ongoing SteemitCryptoAcademy, I will boost my training on blockchain technology with an understanding to recruit more steemians. I'm already doing it, but dedicating my time to it will make me do it better.

So far, anything that will boost the steem blockchain and steem Cameroon is my goal. This is an opportunity I will not want to miss. My job so far as a steemian mentor is paying off. Soon Cameroon will be a hub of the steem blockchain.
