Hello Steemians. Today has been a hectic day, characterized by many activities. From ordinary office tasks to outdoor activities with the pupils of the early childhood center. What by far made the day stand out was the time I spent up the grazing land at Dzah.
Spending two hours with cattle at the grazing lands up the hills of Dzah was a serene and enriching experience. It all starts with boarding a bike(Okada) up the lush, green slopes, where the vibrant hues of nature as usual enveloped me. As I arrived at this peace of real estate, the panoramic view of the expansive grazing fields greeted me, flooded with cattle leisurely munching on the abundant grass.
There is an abundance of up dzah greenery, nurtured by the locals' sustainable practices. Here, cattle feces are not merely waste; they are a crucial component of organic farming. The locals collect and compost the manure, transforming it into nutrient-rich organic fertilizer. This eco-friendly approach significantly boosts the growth of green spices and huckleberries, which are abundant in this place.
Here, the cattle graze freely, their droppings naturally fertilizing the soil. This organic manure enhances the soil's fertility, ensuring the robust growth of various crops without the need for chemical fertilizers. And then there is the milk component which undoubtedly is in no shortage. Now that I’m thinking about it, I have cheese factory aspirations, maybe I should set up shop here(Hahaha wishful thinking).
The farmers' dedication to sustainable agriculture was inspiring. Their methods not only preserve the environment but also produce healthier, more flavorful crops. As the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the hills, I felt a deep appreciation for this harmonious ecosystem. The two hours spent in Dzah were a reminder of the beauty and benefits of living in harmony with nature, fostering growth through sustainable practices.
