The Diary Game- (04/02/2025) From fabric frustrations to design dilemmas, Monday was a challenging day in my world of fashion.

"Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! I'm excited to share with you how my Monday went. Happy new week! As we begin this new week, I'm feeling refreshed and ready to tackle new goals.

I woke up at 7 am, got prepared for work, and started the day by saying my morning prayers and setting intentions. I believe starting the week on a positive note sets the tone for a productive day.

At the shop, Mondays are usually a slow day for me, with minimal sewing and cutting. However, today was different. After cleaning and arranging the shop, I was tasked with restocking our supplies. I prepared the lists and headed to Itam Market.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a big market day, so I couldn't find everything I needed. I proceeded to Marble Fashion Venture at Udi Street, but still couldn't find the exact materials I required. I visited Pinez Shop, another fashion store, but again, I couldn't find the specific color I needed.

Determined to complete my task, I decided to check out Udoma, one of the biggest bridal fashion shop. "I arrived at Udoma Bridal Shop, determined to find the fabric I needed. Unfortunately, they didn't still have the specific shade I was looking for. I was baffled - why was this particular fabric nowhere to be found in the market? Exhausted, I decided to take a break.

Just then, my friend @missyleo called. We caught up, and she offered to bring the fabric she wanted me to sew for her for her birthday photos shot. I waited for her, and when she arrived, we met at the nearby bus stop. The scorching sun unbearable, view from the picture, so we sought shade and caught up briefly. She handed me the fabric, and we agreed to discussed the style she wanted me to sew via WhatsApp.

After parting ways, I headed back to the shop, arriving around 5:30 pm. I was spent, so I wrapped up work for the day. On my way home, I stopped by a small market to pick up ingredients for a hearty vegetable soup.

I bought an assortment of vegetables, including, waterleaf, fresh pepper, periwinkle, stockfish, crayfish, Maggi, and kpomo (cowskin). Once home, I prepared the ingredients, washing and chopping the vegetables, and cleaning the kpomo, periwinkle, and stockfish.

After an hour of cooking, I took my bath and then I finally sat down to enjoy my delicious and nutritious meal. It was the perfect ending to a long, tiring day."

After I was done eating, I drifted off to sleep, lulled by the night and the softness of my bed. My people that was how my Monday went. Thank you for reading 💙. Stay safe.
