How to reach your goals using 3 simple principles

Good morning friends, happy new month to you all and hope you're doing great this morning. Today I'll like us to look at how easily we can actually achieve success in any aspect of life with 3 helpful principle.

You see, us humans try to make the possibilities of living a successful life a little more complicated than it actually is. It's like our nature to just overcomplicate even the smallest things sometimes because we don't always want to accept how something could be that easy or straightforward or simple. I mean for sure generally life can be hard and difficult cause maybe that's how it was programmed to be. But that aside, getting success isn't always as difficult as we think and there are 3 principles you can use below that will go a long way...


1.Start with things you can control;

Like most people, you may spend so much time worrying about things that are outside your control and they end up causing you stress because you spend much of your day focusing on how terrible your situation is rather than how you can try to change the situation. Take an example that you didn't exercise in the past and that's out of your control right now cause you can't go back and start exercising. Instead, stop wasting energy focusing on the past when you can learn from it and make changes now.

What is more important is how you react to the curveballs life or situations throw at you. Your most powerful tool is actually your mind and there isn't always a quick fix to things. Once you build strong mental foundation, you can start to shape your world beautifully.


2. Develop a process to build momentum intentionally;

First momentum is like positive energy that you can build over time while working towards your goals. It's like a sense of forward movement and accomplishment that pushes you to further success. Take for example taking out 5mins daily to run, with that momentum, you can even join a race which can lead you to further connection and more success. Building momentum can be as little as starting a daily routine or putting your best in your present job and so on.

When your mind is developed, it becomes a tool you can use to be proactive in attaining your goals and develop a process to build momentum to reach your goals. It can be tough to build momentum but it's rewards are countless. In as much as the concept is easy, the process can be difficult. But once you find a process that works for you it'll help you build confidence in yourself and that process will work for you no matter what goal you are trying to achieve.

When you've built momentum, it makes you feel like a winner, like you can accomplish anything your mind is set to. With that mindset, failure is not an option.


3. View the world through a value-based model.

The easiest way to get lost is to stroll through life aimlessly. But to increase your effectiveness, use a set of values to guide you and whatever you do should be guided by that value-based model you set. Trust me, you do not want to be left behind because you were mediocre. You should always give your best based on your value model.

Your values should be what guides you, so that when distractions, situations or pressure comes from different angles you already have a foundation to help you stay strong and continue pushing through life.


That's it for today, there might be a lot more things to do but I believe these 3 things are a foundation to begin with on the path of success and we've all learnt something. Once you implement these 3 fundamental principles into your life, I'm sure you'll begin to enjoy the benefits.
