Good evening to all members of this wonderful community, I hope this post meets you well.
I joined steemit about 2 months ago and so I was very curious about most of the features this platform has. The issue of reputation intrigued me, so I did some research, and I'm glad to share what I learnt.😊

Reputation score, can be said to be a scale which determines how trustworthy your content is on steemit. It shows the level of respect and trust users on steemit have for your content. A higher reputation score represents nite trust, and vice versa. High reputation scores also mean high quality content. As you gain higher reputation on steemit, the system learns to trust you, and if course, it comes with some added privileges which we shall be discovering. A high reputation score, is very essential for your growth on Steemit.

YOU START AT 25

As a newbie, you begin with a score of 25, it is in part your responsibility, and in part the responsibility of users on steemit, to increase your reputation. At this point, the user has not received any upvotes, or received any rewards from their posts.

Getting to a reputation score of 40, means you've started receiving support from the community.

A score of 50 implies you're creating high quality content, and you've begun to amass followers. Getting to this point requires some hardwork

A score of 60 means you've earned a lot of Steem, and you're impacting the community with it.

And of course, a score of 70 and above means you're a master of the steemit platform. You have a lot of influence, you're an opinion leader, and the system absolutely trusts your content.
