I was just scrolling through my Timeline when a message notification popped up, it was an invitation from my friends for their matriculation. I had already made plans to attend before their message popped up; little did I know that our fellow Steemian was also matriculating that day.
If you want free access to the event ground, then you have to be very early as 8 o'clock. I had no presentation/speech to make, so I didn't have much reason to be that early, I finally arrived at the school gate around past 10, and I met my friend there. I didn't have many things to do at home before I arrived there, I just did my normal house chores, and I was on my phone all through the morning.
We had the timing right because we just arrived at the spot together, the vehicles were all filled up, and people were rushing to get in. As experienced people, we are in this walk-of-art, and we moved our way into the venue within minutes. The crowd was just mind-blowing; I now wonder why People are not listed as uncountable nouns alongside sand and the stars; even while making a census, it is always an estimated number because people will leave and people will come; you can't just make it accurate.
I was able to locate my friends and take photographs of them; the place was so crowded that it would be difficult to spot a friend. I was finally able to contact other Steemians and also meet them. It was a very interesting moment together with them.

I really enjoyed this day; firstly, I was able to honor my friend's invitation to their Matriculation and also share that moment with them. You would see the happiness in their faces to receive us. The Steemians we met felt so happy when they saw us because they were not really sure we would be coming, but we created time to be there, and we took a lot of photos together.
Many friends from school and Steemit also came to celebrate with their friends; I was just surprised to see them; we just talked for a while and then left.
The day was already accomplished and the best day for me because;
- I attended my friend's Matriculation
- I met my friends and steemians
- I took photos with them
- I met friends I lost contact with
- also I ate a lot ..lol.
