STEEM CAMEROON BEST DAY CONTEST: 02/10/2021

Hello everyone, it’s always a pleasure to be here with you all, I am happy to participate in another edition of my best day contest organized by steem-cameroon .
My best day of last week was Sunday the 26/09/2021. I woke up on this day at 5:30am to prepare for first mass since my choir was leading the liturgy that day. I had my bath and dressed up in one of our choir outfits after waking up , after that, i arranged my song file and left for mass at the Bayelle main mission, I got to church at 5:45am when mass had not started but we had a brief session for voice training out of the church for about 10minutes and after that, we went back inside the church and took our various seats meanwhile mass started at exactly 6:am, mass was so beautiful especially the singing that we led and the priest’s homily that was centered around the gospel message from Mathew which encouraged us to cut off anything that derails us from God so that we can all make heaven. First mass ended at 8:30am and we went outside for pictures.

I went home and prepared a few packs that i had to deliver containing cakes, chicken, apple, meat pie and scotched egg . The cake had been baked on Saturday night which made things easier including the chicken which was already spiced and kept in the freezer, my elder sister had also fried the scotched egg by the time i got home so i only had to bake meat pie while mum fried the chicken that had been seasoned. This division of labor made the work light on us all and by 3:pm we were done and I took some pictures of it

When everything was set, I had my bath and packed up some of my clothes as i had to travel to Yaoundé on this same day. I took a taxi from finance junction to Santa since buses had been banned from traveling. When i got there, i crossed over after the first checkpoint there and luckily enough, I saw some buses belonging to Amour mezam and they were selling out tickets to those willing to travel to either Yaoundé or Doula and so i hurriedly paid for Yaoundé and as God will have it, my ticket was the very last one . After that, i went into the bus and took my seat while waiting for everyone to get settled inside. During this period, i also had time to eat since i had taken one of the packs containing chewables along with me for the journey . We finally took off at about 7pm.

This day was undoubtably my best day of the week because I was blessed to begin my day in the presence of the lord, filled with his spirit, secondly I delivered my orders on time and thirdly, I travelled to Yaoundé and arrived there safely despite all the huddles I had on the way . I was able to accomplish a lot just in a day and I remain grateful to God for that.
