One of the most deceptive voices before the start of any battle is the voice of Power. It'll make you focus on how much you can do but forget about what can be done to you. It'll make you strategize on how to crush but forget that you can be crushed. It is amazing that wisdom will tell you to run even when it's obvious you have power. There are many unfruitful battles you would have prevented if you knew it's okay to run. There are many unnecessary bruises you would have avoided if you knew there's nothing to prove. When there's no credible and obvious reward, then battle becomes a distraction. Retreat is not always a sign of weakness, it is a dangerous weapon in the council of wisdom. Sometimes the greatest weapon you have in battle is not a Sword, it is your ability to run.
