What’s up!! STEEMIANS!! Hope you all are doing well?

INTRODUCTION
I came across some knowledge while studying yesterday and I decided to share with you guys.
I noticed it’s something that many people do and they do not know and it is a bad habit.
Ignorance is not a good thing.
I decided to share this here in order to create awareness of what we should eat to stay healthy and what we should avoid eating.Its always good to eat and EAT RIGHT !!!
I LOVE EATING WATERMELON..infact is it my favorite 🍉 fruit.I eat everything as long as it’s watermelon..starting from the fruit itself to the seeds to the whitish part at the end..sometimes I even threaten to eat the green 😂
No week can pass by without me eating watermelons 🍉
Before I even came across the health benefits of eating the seeds ...I was happy that I was eating the right thing.

Many people have the habit of removing the seeds before eating or spitting it out from their mouths..without even knowing what these seeds could give them.
Some of these benefits include;

MAKES YOUR BONES STRONGER:
Watermelon seeds have a high content of minerals like copper, manganese and potassium. And these minerals together with other micronutrients help in making our bones healthier. The seeds are linked with strengthening our bones and also improving the bone density.

BOOSTS METABOLISM:
Watermelon seeds are a powerhouse of nutrients like folate, iron, zinc, copper, magnesium, potassium. These seeds are considered to be highly nutritious, as they are also rich in amino acids, proteins and vitamin B complex. All these nutrients together help in boosting your body’s metabolism.

NO UNHEALTHY FATS:
They contain certain healthy fats which are extremely important for the body. Watermelon seeds are a good source of healthy fatty acids like oleic acid, linoleum acid which is required for proper functioning of the body.Good for diabetics:
These black seeds are really helpful in controlling diabetes. It is known to reduce the elevated blood sugar level and therefore can be a good snack option for patients with diabetes.

Watermelon seed oil is widely used as the main ingredient for cosmetic products that works wonders in treating acne and early signs of aging. HOW TO USE WATERMELON SEEDS IN YOUR DAILY LIFE

Dry the watermelon seeds and roast them in a pan. Store them for many days in airtight containers. This can be a healthy yet delicious snacking option for those who always feel hungry! These will provide you a boost of nutrition and you can add these tiny seeds to your salads or other nuts for that added benefit. If you don’t want to eat it as a seed then you can also make it into a powder and to enjoy the same flavor and benefits.

INSTEAD WE OFTEN EAT APPLE SEEDS WITHOUT EVEN REALIZING THEY ENTERED OUR MOUTHS AND WHICH HAPPENS NOT TO BE TOO GOOD FOR THE SYSTEM...IT SHOULD NOT BE CONSUMED IN HIGH AMOUNTS.
BUT MOST PEOPLE EAT IT 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Amygdalin exists in relatively high amounts in the seeds of fruits in the Rosaceae family, which includes apples, almonds, apricots, peaches, and cherries. People have used cyanide as a poison throughout history. It works by interfering with cells' oxygen supplies, and high doses may lead to death within minutes.

Others fruits which seeds can be eaten are PAWPAW,STAWBERRY,TOMATOES,PEAR,GUAVAS ETC
CONCLUSION
I am happy to share with you some of the things I read...I am not a health student or planning to be one but when it comes to health and especially fitness and nutrition I always do research and make sure I am very healthy.
I think that’s why I select what I eat and people will just assume I am doing slim course or model things.
