Application for Country Representative of Cameroon by @majerius

Hello hello to all, I'm called Nkem Majerius Known by all in steemit as, @majerius, i count it a privilege to be accorded the opportunity to apply for the most prestigious post of country representative in the Cameroon community. I am of Cameroon origin and i currently reside in the West region of the same country. I am a Christian and a medical lab technician by profession and cryptocurrency and blogging passionate.

I created my account on steemit when the previous year just began, on the 8th of January, 2021 through the present country representative @saxopedia. But i had to wait to go through some orientation and read through the FAQ before finally making my intro post on the 15th of January 2021. Here's my intro post link.
Since i joined, i have been active and helping others to join the platform too. I have grown through the years with the help of contests and also the Steemit team.

My knowledge of steemit has grown as i grew in the platform and when I just clocked 4months i began recruiting more people and helping other newbies with other tasks by orientating them on how to go about various problems. As earlier mentioned, by reading the FAQ, i got acquainted with how the Steemit platform works and also getting information from the present admins of Steem Cameroon.

My hardwork and dedication got me spotted out by the steem Cameroon admins and i was appointed as the MOD of the community. This appointment got me even more acquainted with curation and other vital steemit rules like plagiarism. Though learning never ends, I'd be tempted to say that i am no longer a learner as concerns Steemit but i am already an instructor too.

I don't only belong to the steem Cameroon community, but i am also a member of other communities where i post my content and interact with others through comments. As seen on the table, i am a club75 member and have delegated 2000 SP to the Steem Cameroon community where i am the MOD. I I also am the organizer of the Cameroon Poetry Contest which is a way by which we help people remain active on Steemit.

Why would i make a good Country Representative?

Firstly, being versed with online platforms, I'm not ignorant of how the internet functions and also i can work effectively as a team. I put in my all to make sure everything is done according to the rules governing the Steemit Blockchain.

Looking at the Steem Cameroon community, 98% of active steemians have English as their primary language and my knowledge of French would allow me to reach out to native french speakers of my country. For Steemit to trend, we would need much more active members and my location in the country would allow me to extend the arms of the Steem Cameroon community to those speaking the french language.

Also, i can relate with everyone and am also very patient. To deal with such task demands a high level of communication and tolerance. I have been performing this tasks selflessly even before the demand of applications.

It would be not only an honor but a great pleasure to represent my country on those amazing platform. Irrespective of if I'm selected or not, I'll continue supporting my community with all my resources.
