CELEBRATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD 2021 IN BAMENDA 🇨🇲

Arts is the new way to keep the young and old educated about recent community developments and how to directly get involved in what concerns their change and prominent growth. At D4D we strive on a daily to entice the public and create a common platform for sensitization, education and improvement.

MYSELF GIVING AND OPENING WORD

This was a first time celebration for us which we believe at the end of the day passed across a message to young girls and their direct public. This 2 hour workshop took place at RDA Studio Mile 2 Nkwen from 11am to 1pm. We had a word on self-identity, purpose and vision for every individual from Sama Mildred of Draufichist. The girls learned more on how to truly discover themselves, set achievable goals and how to get mentored to their success destination.

The Girl Poem was also presented by Berinyuy Denise Babey of Rich-Kid Studios. This helped as a self-booster for the girls as they recited words of acceptance, positivity, determination with their own tongues.

Musical Interlude from Mag Bila of the North-West Dancers federation closed the first part of our program. We then had a dance choreography learned by the girls present as assign of solidarity and interactions; as dances goes beyond verbal manifestations to body messages.

STEEMIT: @saxopedia and @fombae were equally present to talk about the Steemit platform and how to become a part. The audience were trilled with such existing platform at their door and they had no idea. He encouraged them not to look to big but start small, start where they can encouraging them its as esay as what they pist on other social media platforms on a daily basis.
I had 2 persons create accounts with me immediately after the program and so many others currently in the process. @larryklins

At the end of the day, we are certain 30 girl children

• learnt something new about who they are
• proclaimed their greatness and commitment again
• interacted with other girls in different trades from them, new friends and colleagues
• exercised the muscles and certainly improved their heart rate
