The Diary Game: A Lone Thursday At Home/ Experiencing Quiet Environment Due New Year Holiday [02/01/2025]

Good day my good friends and a Happy New Year Once again my steemit family. Today wasn't funny at all, do you know where I stay people have left to their respective villages leaving us that won't travel to stay alone? It's been this way obviously but this year is something else.

The whole groove about 1st January ended and we are all back to our respective lives away from Christmas and new year merriments. So I woke up and took a stroll in our street at the same time, I wanted to withdraw money so I could go to the market to get some things for breakfast, to my greatest surprise, not even a single POS spot opened in our street, I trekked distance before I could see where to withdraw money.

Majority of the business centers didn't open today and I guess it will be that way throughout this week as people had travelled back to their villages for the Christmas and New Year holiday, I waited for a while for the market to open but no one came so I went back home.

When I got back home, I took the small bread I had at home and used it with the only sachet Bama that was home, this served as my breakfast as I was hoping to buy something at the market maybe in the afternoon.

After eating, I took my bath and grabbed my laptop and began to work, you know we are back to our hustle. After working, I made some promotional contents and then went on to have my nap around 1pm.

When I woke up, my friend @etette asked if I could accompany him to the main road so he could get something, I had to go because staying indoor was going to be very bored all alone. We trekked under the hot sun and i wasn't even feeling it because we were gisting on our there.

When we got to the main road, the only people we saw were those waiting to see if they will see taxi to pay back to their destinations. Even market never opened, it was just so terrible to see this, the two mini buses we saw were all filled up thank God I wasn't going a far distance.

Coming back home, I took my bath and went outside to stay, the whole thing of not seeing where to buy something was just somehow and I never wanted to think about it.

Around 5pm, I went outside to stay so I could get network to login my steemit account and vote as well as commenting on people's posts here on steemit. I just took this selfie because it was just so bored staying all alone, I am praying my neighbors should be back very soon.

After a while, I went inside and selected beans and parboiled rice then prepared rice with beans for dinner, that was what I took for dinner, it's my best combination so far, I had to eat to the fullest.

After eating, I had my bath and grabbed my second phone and began to farm for aidrops, I had to go through them one after the other, I was even shocked when I saw that 0.1 Ton was due for withdrawal in one of the airdrop, so I placed the withdrawal before coming outside to write my diary before I get to sleep off.

After that I began to put my diary down so I would share with everyone, and after this diary, I will be going to bed because it's bored over here and this will wrap up my day.
