THE DIARY GAME: STRESSFUL DAY AT WORK 03/06/2023

At work

Good day Steemians, as our culture demands, I am here to tell you how my day went, but first, hope yours went well?

So, I woke up as early as 4:30am, guess you might be wondering why I had to wakeup that early, I really had to prepare so I could get to the office since we were relocating and there was much to pack, I did my pushups after I said my morning prayers. I really needed to eat because the work will be so much, so I went to get the bread I had in the fridge and made pap so I could take it with.

I know you will ask me if I don't get tired of pap with this bread, no, I love pap with bread, sometimes I do take it with hot beans cake, so since the woman that do sell beans cake did not open that early hour of the day, I had to use my already bought bread.

After eating, I went in to take a very cold bath because I was really sweating, and I spent about 20minutes bathing. After bathing, I quickly dressed up and off I went to work, but I was still wondering and thinking of how I will do the packing alone as well as offloading them at the new shop space. Still buried in my thought, a taxi drove by and I called on, I paid for all the seats so I could get there on time.

On reaching the office, it was about 7;29am, I quickly unlock all the padlocks and went inside. After praying and commiting everything into God's hands, I called my boss and told him I was packing so he can send the transport fare. It took me about 3hours to pack all the clothes in the shop, and I was already drained, so I went out to get myself sprite to drink inorder to refill my energy.

So, the truck was there already so I could load the items on it, it took me another 1 hour, 30minutes but I was finally done, here is it.

It was much, I couldn't get a good angle to snap it. So we left the old shop at about 1:45pm, I was sweating profusely, all these happened after I had already packed the items on Friday and things were still much remaining after this second batch. We were at the new shop within some minutes, and I started the offloading immediately, it took me 3 hours again to offload them from the truck.

So after offloading them, I went in to clean the shop, tidied it up and as well cleaned the shelves. This was the peak of the work, because before now, my boss has already brought goods from abroad, so I will have to update my inventory, price tag them and arranged them, this was where I knew I was really into a big work, I started updating the inventory at about 4:15pm and it took me about 2hours to finish it up, and that was around 6:30pm, the price tagging job alone took me two more hours, so apparently, I started arranging the clothes at about 8:30pm, I never had an helping hands, it took me extra 5 hours to complete everything. I was exhausted, infact using the work exhausted is an understatement, to be sincere with you. I was drained and I manage to close by 4am, so literally, I spent a full day working non-stop. But then this is how my arrangement look like.

There is more to do again Steemians , already feeling pains, and I am tired sincerely, but then I still have to work.
